"I think they're marvelous," she stated, as though that settled the matter. "Besides, your sketches are very honest and energetic." She smiled and shut her eyes, clasping both hands beneath her chin as she thought about the girl's drawings.

"Ah...thank you...b-but what are you doing still up?! I didn't notice that you were in the common room!" She felt horrible for not noticing Tomoyo's presence, but she had been a little bit absorbed in her little art project.

Yellow looked at the ground, feeling foolish. "I-I wasn't tired...so I came down to draw for a little while." She smiled sheepishly up at Tomoyo. "What project were you working on?"

"Oh!" Her eyes shot open and she went back to the armchair she'd been in earlier, tucking her sewing kit under an arm and picking up the small pink glove. "It's just something small, to keep me occupied, you might say." She offered the article of clothing to Yellow as if for inspection.

Yellow wasn't really sure what she was supposed to do with the glove, but took it anyway, smiling as she ran the soft material through her fingers. "It-It's very nice...d-d-do you like sewing?"

"I do, but I mostly prefer designing. Sewing is more of a means to an end." She set her spools of thread and pincushion down on the table, waiting for Yellow to finish with the glove.

"I see." She handed the glove back to Tomoyo, noticing that the girl was obviously waiting for her to give it back. "It's very pretty. What do you design?"

"Different things." She took the glove and laid it down by her other drawing supplies. "Dresses, mostly, or costumes."

"Th-That's horrible! I'm so sorry." Yellow gently took Tomoyo's hands, trying to offer some comfort. The older girl must be upset that her friend left, and a good friend would obviously comfort her!

Surprised, she raised her eyes to the other girl. "It's not your fault at all! Please don't apologize." She squeezed her hands for emphasis, adding, "I've made friends here that I wouldn't give up for the world, so don't feel bad."

"I-I won't...but what are y-you going to do? Y-You said your model I-is gone." Yellow blinked down at Tomoyo, feeling a little awkward, but more reassured that the older girl had enough friends. "Have you f-found a new model yet?"

She hung her head, fiddling with her fingers. "No, I...haven't gotten around to asking anyone yet." In truth, she'd thought about asking the other girl, especially after that one time in the classroom...
