Edge chuckled slightly at the 'edge of the woods' comment. "If you must know, I was continuing my daily training. Like my father said, if you don't train for at least 9 hours a day, you aren't a real ninja." Well, technically, his mother said that, but he kept on getting the two confused after he finished training. Part of hanging upside-down for a few hours at a time.

Yayoi was confused. Why nine hours? Her mother told her that she must train her entire life for whatever it is she was meant to do... Her mother.... she was gone now.... an unfamiliar was of grief and weary swept over her

John looked back and forth between the Gryffindor boy and the Hufflepuff girl. The ninja had said he trained at least nine hours a day! Well, he was kind of really far behind... But without a couple days of sleep, he should be able to catch up to the skill level of Edge, right? Right! There was nothing wrong with this plan!
Except, you know... "Where do you get the time for sleep?" John wondered aloud, mostly to himself Edge. If school took up a certain amount of hours, then trianing for nine more... Where was there time?! And especially things he liked! Like movies! Where did he get time for movies?! Okay... So maybe he wouldn't train for nine hours... Those nine hours could be used for a better purpose-- Movies. Hogwarts had something against electronics, so he couldn't bring his television... He had been working on a spell that could stream videos... There had to be one! He was getting withdraw from not being able to see a certain muggle actor!

Edge looked over at the incredibly dorky boy. "Sleep? Ninjas don't need a lot of sleep. Two hours and we're good." He was telling the honest-to-God truth. "We train our bodies to operate at high efficiency with minimal hours of sleep. Once we finish a mission, though, we spend at least an entire day hibernating."

Celty chuckled in her head, her smoke drifting up towards the treetops. She wasn't sure if she wanted to join the conversation or just watch. She felt more like a ninja than Edge!

Edge blinked as he saw a puff of smoke drifting out of his peripheral vision. He only knew one person who usually had smoke around them... "Ah, hello, Celty-hime!" He waved at his fellow 7th-year.

Yayoi turned to look at Celty. This girl entranced her. What was that smoke swirling from her neck? Could she see? How did she feel about others asking about her head? What has her life been like? Yayoi shook her head before turning to Edge. He moderately peaked her intrests. A ninja in a wizarding school? Interesting... Then the other boy. He was amusing... Yayoi almost found herself smiling at the boys antics. "What an interesting group..." She murmured, not expecting anyone to hear her.

Edge smiled as he heard Yayoi's comment. "Indeed, Suzuka-hime. Then again, this is Hogwarts, so the interesting and unusual is somewhat common."

Yayoi jumped. "I mean.... I haven't really spoken to anyone in the 3 years I've been here, so now I'm just finding that the people here are..." Yayoi clenched her mouth shut. That was embaressing! She shouldn't tell people that!

Edge waved his hands as if sending the thought away. "Don't worry, I used to think the same when I got here. A few years of being here really changes how you think about things." He placed a hand on her shoulder, smiling.

Yayoi twitched at the human contact. Normally she spent her days sleeping and talking to ghosts. She was fairly good friends with all of them...

Celty stepped away from the bushes, looking over the three other students in the clearing. John, the nerdy little first year who was fangirling over Edge. Edge, the ninja who was always training. And Suzuka, the strange girl who seemed to be helping anyone.

And enter the heroine! John gasped. The... The girl had no head! He took a step back, instinctly raising an arm as if protecting himself. She was... She was... OhmyGod so awesome! She looked like a person that had stepped right off of a screen! She looked like a movie character! That was so cool!
"Do you have a head? Where is it? I bet it's buried somewhere! Is it in a secret place! I bet it is! That would be so cool! An awesome movie or something, right?!" She was, no doubt, stuck in the wizarding world, right? She wouldn't fit in the muggle world, would she? So... Did she even know what a movie was?

Yayoi was still entranced by Celty. Edge also seemed fairly interesting. She blushed as she realized she must be the most unmemorable, boring person in this group... John seemed to be amused by everyone else... Yayoi shook her head. Why should she care?

Celty was a little overwhelmed by all the questions. No one had ever asked her outright like that where her head was. Everyone was more concerned with politeness than actually getting their questions answered. Her quill flashed through the air as she wrote out a reply.
"Please speak more slowly John." She analyzed Suzuka's reaction and added. "You don't have to be afraid. I am a student. Just like the rest of you." She hoped Edge would help her allay the younger students' fears. They were the same year...and Edge had helped her through lots of situations where younger students thoughts she was a monster. She didn't mind their fear, but it did make her feel like more of an outsider. She was human just like them! Even if she didn't have a head...she was still a person. And her feelings were just as volatile and unpredictable as normal people's.
