Staff Room: Genderbent Week

[Doyle Blackwell]

Doyle walked into the staff room, finding it currently unoccupied. His long hair was tied up into a ponytail and he was wearing some loose pants instead of a skirt today; he was the flying instructor after all, and class couldn't be cancelled just because he had been turned into a woman. Sighing, he plopped down into a chair and drank from a flask of water. He was interested to see if any other teachers had been genderbent besides Mimiko; he hadn't had any free time to socialize with the others yet.

And apparently the answer is that yes, some of them had. Shinra flung open the door with as much energy as ever, stack of papers crammed haphazardly under one arm and half empty cup of coffee in one hand. There wasn't really much of a difference between Shinra as a boy and Shinra as a girl; the same wrinkled white robes, the same brown hair (just longer, but still as unkempt). She tossed the papers down on the staff table neatly, then looked up to see Doyle.
"Haha, I see you're also affected. Fascinating, even your build seems different." She poked at Doyle's shoulder, to show what she was referring too.

[Vincent Valentine]

Vincent slunk in silently into the staff room, praying that there were still some normal people left on this accursed building. His prayers were sadly unanswered as he saw that Shinra (maybe?) and possibly maybe Doyle (he couldn't tell) were also genderbent. He sighed as he leaned against the wall, crimson eyes full of confusion. "What the hell happened to this school?" He asked to no one in particular.

[Doyle Blackwell]

"Yeah," Doyle replied, holding his arms out in front of him and looking at them. "But I haven't lost my touch, thank Merlin. Can still hit a bludger halfway across the field." He looked up at Shinra and smirked. "And I see you've barely changed." His attention was grabbed by Vincent walking into the room. "But you seem to have escaped whatever happened to the rest of us. Congratulations, you're one of the few normal people left!"

[Mimiko Katsuragi]

Mimiko walked in, startled to suddenly be one of very few MEN in the staff room, other than being one of two girls. She saw Vincent, and noticed that he hadn't changed. He'd probably luckily missed breakfast that morning.

"Hey Mr. Valentine." She gave him a light smile. Wait... They hadn't really talked that much. Maybe he wouldn't recognize her?

[Shinra Kishitani]

At Doyle's words, Shinra chuckled and spun in a circle with arms outstretched. "Nope, just the same as ever!" Halfway through the oh-so-acrobatic twirl she was distracted by Vincent and zipped over to stand by his side. "How odd. You weren't affected? Unless you're just extremely flat, which is possible-- but I know there are unaffected people, like that little second year girl who came to talk to me."

[Vincent Valentine]

Vincent shrugged. "I wasn't hungry today. And I won't be eating food from the school until everyone's changed back to their normal selves." Silently, he high-fived himself for buying that portable gas stove. He wouldn't eat food from the school, but he would eat.
He glanced over at the new male teacher who walked in. "Katsuragi." He nodded. It was impossible to miss her. Or was it him now? Vincent gave up on that during class. "So, I'm going to hazard a guess and say I'm one of the few normal ones in this school."

[Shinra Kishitani]

"Define 'normal'," Shinra replied with a cheeky smile, reaching over to fiddle with the end of one of Vincent's long bangs. "That's a very relative term."

[Vincent Valentine]

Vincent moved Shinra's hand from his face. "Normal as in the same gender as when I was born." He replied icily. He didn't like Shinra. Nothing personal, it was just the name had some rather negative connotations in his head.

[Doyle Blackwell]

Doyle grinned over at Mimiko. "Hey, Mimiko," he said before looking back over at Vincent and Shinra. They were being quite entertaining, especially because he knew how much of a stiff Valentine was usually. He must be loving this sudden change in Hogwarts. Doyle snorted at his private joke, returning to drinking from the flask in his hand.

[Mimiko Katsuragi]

Mimiko blushed that Vincent recognized her right away. She sighed. Guess she wasn't a very effective guy.

She giggled at Shinra and Vincent's antics though. That... That was priceless.

[Shinra Kishitani]

"That's relative too, you know," She informed Vincent cheerfully. "There's physical and mental. But you're the same as always." She held up one finger as a time as she added, "I had one girl come to me asking about the sudden, and she swore she'd always been female. Also, I know I've seen at least one student in the hallways that looks the same." It seemed the teachers were almost entirely changed, however.

[Vincent Valentine]

Vincent glared at Shinra's fingers, willing them to go down. "Again, Shinra, I was born a male, and I still AM male, so therefore I'm normal." He crossed his arms. "And don't talk to me about the students. The first day, and I'm already getting a headache..." He pinched the bridge of his nose between his index finger and thumb, willing the aching in his skull to vanish.

[Shinra Kishitani]

"Normal for you~"
With a shrug, Shinra backed off, going to examine Mimiko, who was the newcomer in the room. She circled the brunette, thinking. "Not much has changed for you either, right?" He asked her. She'd seemed the sort of person who bounced back quickly from setbacks.

[Doyle Blackwell]

Doyle nodded. "I had a fun time in class today. Basically the whole time was spent trying to teach the girls now boys how to deal with flying under their new...circumstances. And teaching the boys now girls how to learn to balance with their extra weight." He sighed. It had been a long day.
