All week Fai had watched flurries of snow from the window of the classroom. By the time classes had finished, it was already dark out and so there was little chance to properly enjoy the winter weather. So, by the time the weekend came, he pretty much dragged Kurogane out for a walk.
He wrapped his scarf a little tighter as they stepped out onto the snow covered grounds, then he grabbed kuros hand with his own gloved one and gently tugged him towards the frozen lake "C'mon Kuro-pon!" he tried to encourage the Hufflepuff with a smile. He loved seeing Hogwarts grounds all covered in white, the lake icey enough to skate on, and even the forest looked less daunting dusted in snow.

Kurogane yawned, still a little tired. Having Fai getting him up this early was not right... it was the weekend. Fai was practically dragging him along towards the lake, it was cold now Kuro was also wrapped up but could still feel the cold.
Kurogane suddenly got a good idea, Fai should be made to pay for dragging him out of bed so early to 'play' in the snow. He wasnt a kid anymore so why the hell was he here. While Fai dragged him along he grabbed some snow pretending to stumble a little with Fai pulling him. Righted himself and kept on letting the Blonde drag him along. Then while Fai was almost pulling his arm off he slipped the cold snow down the back of Fai's clothes. Finally pulling his hand away smirking evily as he darted away. Watching to see how Fai reacted.

Fai glanced back when Kuro stumbled, a bit worried but he seemed ok so he kept leading the way. "Isn't it lovely out here, Kurochi?" he was smiling, seeing the lake not too far off now. He was about to add to that, but something cold and wet slid down the back of his neck, then down his spine and he let out a loud yelp, whipping around to see Kurogane smirking and running out of reach. "KUROMEANIE!!!" he yelled, wiggling and trying to shake the snow from the back of his top.
He narrowed his eyes, but gave a smirk in return and he scooped up some snow, chucking it towards the Hufflepuff in retalliation.

Kurogane cackled evily ducking behind a tree, hearing the snowball Fai had thrown hit the tree a white dust raining down on Kuro as he kept on moving. It was hard to run in snow.. but Kuro tried to keep to the shallower bits. He made his way towards the frozen lake.
He had soon reached the edge, skidding to a hault he glanced back to see where Fai was.

Fai gave chase, noting that usually he was the one being chased...and he was usually the one pulling silly pranks. It made him smile that Kurogane was apparently enough at ease with him to be playful (even if the Hufflepuff wouldn't admit it). He followed, scooping snow up and lobbing another ball of it that landed a couple of feet from Kuroganes fleeing form.
He watched the young man ahead nearly skidding as he got to the lake and he tried a similar tactic that kurogane had used earlier, ducking behind a snowdrift (that was probably a gargoyle/grotesque of some kind, but had ended up covered in snow). He tugged the hood over his hair to cover it, his white coat with white fluffy trim blended him in with the snow somewhat.

Kurogane looked back towards the frozen lake losing himsef in memories of winters with his parents when they had first moved to england. Sighing deeply he shook his head to rid himself of the memories. Just standing there.

Fai peeked out, but kuro was lost in thought. He didn't want kuro to go emo on him...it was supposed to just be a playful morning where they could forget everything for a while. He made a snowball and mumbled a spell, using wingardium leviosa to levitate the freezing projectile and with a flick of his wrist he sent it flying at the back of kuros head.

Kuro yelped a little when the snowball smacked the back of his head, he turned to glare where fai was hiding. "That was a cheap shot," said kuro rubbing the back of his head. Kuro reached down for more snow, arching another snowball to where fai was hidden behind the snow drift.

fai peeked out from behind his hiding place, smirking as he heard the yelp and watched kuro. He chuckled and ducked as another snowball came flying towards him, yelping as it hit his back. "who're you calling cheap??" he mocked an indignant tone....he knew kuro hadn't meant that. He flicked his wnd and a tree nearby kuro shook its branches, dumping snow onto the hufflepuff below....fai laughed "kurosnowman!"

Kuro was assaulted by snow, he made an indignant manly yelp as some slid down him back. Managing to slip and end up sprawled in the snow. He sighed... stupid blonde... making him come out here and freeze his butt off.
"i am not a snowman," he grouched not happy.

Awww, Kurogane was all grouchy now. Fai still didn't have the hang of simply being himself...he wanted so desperatly to be anyone else in fact that he pushed his adopted 'silly' persona too far sometimes. He stepped out from his cover, still smiling though there was a hint of worry in his eyes as he wandered over. "Sorry....are you ok Kurotan?" he flooped into the snow next to kuro, making a snow angel and staring up at the pale sky....it looked like it was going to snow again.

Kurogane watched Fai floop into the snow and make the snow angel.
"Fine..... no thanks to you," said Kurogane still grumpy. He stared up at the sky watching the flakes start to fall again, he sighed heavily but remained silent.

Fai shivered a little, shifting to prop himself up on one elbow to look at Kurogane. He did feel bad that he'd made the man grumpy....and not the fun kind where he was chased around. Shyly he leant across and placed a soft kiss on Kuroganes cheek. "...Does that make it up to you, Kuro-rin?"

Kuro blushed looking away, 'umming' and 'awing' as he struggled with the embaressment. He looked back to see if Fai was looking still blushing.
"its... a start," said Kurogane. He wanted to lean in to steal another kiss from Fai's lips but they were outside. Someone could be watching, kurogane was very embaressed about public signs of affection... he'd never done it before... and he was already a little embaressed with whole kissing thing. He squirmed a little unsure.

Fai was blushing a little, but grinned as he saw it made Kurogane all flustered and shy. So cute. His grin widened a the Hufflepuff grudingly replied that it was a start. A start, hm? A quick glance around; it seemed that no one else was out here, it was still quite early in the day and they were out of sight of the castle anyway, so he shifted to place a gentle and quick kiss on Kuroganes lips this time. "You're adorable when you're shy, Kurotan!" he teased with a fond grin.
