Mimiko will take the challenge of Slytherin Head of House, because I think Remy would be a better Gryffindor Head of House than Mimiko. Mimiko is Charms, and therefore would be good in working with the hex-loving maniacs of Slytherin house in times of need. As a side note, does this mean there will be necessary "times of need" posts/plots?

I believe that a head of house had to be in that house when they went to Hogwarts; therefore a teacher that went to Beauxbatons wouldn't be able to take that position. Since we're understaffed at the moment, however, if something particularly drastic happens then Clow might have her temporarily supervise Slytherin.
About your other question; yes, in the future we plan to have more action-packed plots, but it will be optional for each player to participate.

Doyle would love to take on the position of Slytherin Head of House (sorry Mimiko)! He was a Slytherin while in school, and while being a generally fun-loving guy, he also knows when it's time to be serious. He can also be pretty intimidating when he wants to be, which is needed for Slytherins as they don't really like to listen.

Pffft... Slytherins listen all the time =3= **dismissive hand wave**
Whether or not they actually /apply/ that knowledge... >_> XD ... ... ... Or maybe Marshall's just special

Yes, some of them do. Some of them are very well behaved and have already earned Slytherin House some points. Some of them, however, need to have an eye kept on them at all times. *looks directly back at Marshall*

Quick question here- are Heads of Houses allowed to take points from other houses or do they have to notify the other Head and let them deal with the problem?

All teachers can take points from any student, no matter the house. They can also assign detentions. If a reaaaally big punishment is being assigned (over 100 points, or a lot of detention) sometimes teachers will take it to the student's head of house.

I was kinda thinking that Vincent be head of Ravenclaw house, y'know, considering in-universe he was technically a former member of a pseudo-CIA organization with really cool suits. Plus, considering he's like SUPER old, he could prolly help out any of the still-smart-but-not-quite-as-smart members! I woulda wanted Slytherin but Doyle took it... ;^;

Unfortunately one can only be the head of a house if that's the house you were in when you were at Hogwarts. Vincent was in Slytherin, so he can't be the head of Ravenclaw house.
