Fenris watched Anri leave and wondered if her friends were going to follow her. "Hey, Violet!" He called, waving. He had located two perfect pumpkins, if violet was planning on carving one as well.

Violet jumped and looked up from the rather large pumpkin in front of her. She hadn't even thought anyone had seen her come in! Looking around she spotted Fenris. "Oh, hey Fenris! Um...I can't really pick this up, I'm in the middle of carving it." She smiled at him and waved for him to come join her with his pumpkin.

Fenris grabbed the pumpkin he had picked for himself, and walked over, sitting next to her giant pumpkin. He looked at his pumpkin. He had a solid image in his head of what he wanted to carve. He got up to get a carving knife, and sat down in front of it, gazing at it with an amusing look on his face.

Mimiko, when she saw Fenris grab the knife, was glad she had included them. Technically the pumpkins could be cut with magic, but for inexperienced Charms kids, such a feat could be very difficult.

Freya had been late. But she was fashionably late. All the high class people were. The announcement had said that pumpkin carving was at noon. She had arrived at twelve o' five. Perfectly late. She walked briskly up to the large amount of pumpkins, eying each and every single one, trying to find the one with the least amount of flaws. She finally settled for a medium sized one. It wasn't perfect... But with a few spells and gems, it would do. Flicking her wand, she casted a quick spell allowing the pumpkin to float a few feet above ground and starting to rotate in a slow circle. Yes. It would definitely do.

Yellow was hidden so well it seemed that no one even noticed her presence, and she was fine keeping it that way. She stayed timidly behind the huge door, watching the proceedings with some interest.

Violet continued her carving. All she had accomplished so far were the eyes, and she had a ways to go. She glanced over at Fenris, glad to notice he was also using a carving knife. It probably wasn't a good idea to trust the two of them with a carving spell. Giggling to herself, she continued her work. "What's your plan?"

Fenris smiled wickedly. "A wolf, of course." She winked at her and pulled a picture out of his messanger bag, hiding it from her veiw. He'd been thinking about pumpkin carving for a while now, and had already drawn up his plan. He cut the top off the pumpkin first, and began to scoop out its pumpkin innards.

Freya rolled her eyes and turned her back in disgust. How could one simply pull out all of the pumpkin? It was just disgusting! And even if you had wanted to do that... That deed, wouldn't you wear gloves? Why would you want to ruin your perfectly manicured nails? Speaking of which... She held out her hand, admiring the paint job she did on her nails. They were a light blue (that matched her eyes of course) that turned to dark purple (that matched her hair of course) that only required a simple spell. She smiled to herself, pointing her wand to a table and watching the pumpkin follow. Now with the help of magic, she could finally carve... A glimpse of brilliant blonde hair caught her eye and she turned to see a timid first year standing by the door. "Oh, darling..." she said to herself, lightly touching her lips with her fingertips. The child was so...so... so frumpy looking! She must fix this! She bustled over to Yellow, examining her over and over again. No. The first year wasn't completely hopeless, but she definitely needed Freya's help.

"Of course," she replied, smiling back. "Hey, save those pumpkin guts for me, would you? I make a pumpkin pie out of them every year." She scooted the bowl that held the innards from her own pumpkin over towards him, then got back to work on the body of her carving.

Yellow's eyes widened as her view was suddenly blocked by someone. Her gaze slowly traveled upward until she met the older girl's sparkly light blue eyes. She opened her mouth to make an excuse for why she was standing here but only a pathetic squeak came out and she pulled her black witch hat down lower over her eyes.

"No, no, no, that simply won't do, darling!" She reached out, whisking the terrified first years hat away without any consideration for the poor girl. She just wanted to make her fabulous! Was that too much to ask? Although she wasn't expecting the full blonde ponytail to fall out. Now that was interesting. Blonde was very in right now. This could work for her. Freya lifted the young girls chin so she could examine her, tilting her head this way and that, making small noises of approval and disapproval. And, as quickly as she had started the girl, she turned around heading back to the table with her pumpkin. "Pumpkin carving now, dear." She looked back over her shoulder, seeing if Yellow was following her. She was here for pumpkin carving and that was what she was going to do. Makeovers could, although they shouldn't, wait. She just didn't want to terrify the poor child but it was probably too late for that.

Fenris piled all the pumpkin innards into the bowl, and smiled. After he was done, he took a knife to the front of the pumpkin, making quick, precise markings.

Yellow made a grab for her hat, much too late to save it. "N-No! I need that!" She followed the girl with her hat, only wanting to get it back. She hadn't come to carve pumpkins, she had only wanted to watch! But now it seems like the older girl wasn't going to leave her alone...why was everyone so observant in the wizard world?!

Freya jerked her hand back reflexively as the first year made a grab for her hat. She would NOT allow the girl to have her frumpy hat back. Not until she made it fabulous! She briskly walked back to the table, setting the hat down on the pumpkin. "Now watch this, darling!" She flicked her wand and the hat immediately straightened up. She made the hat rotate just like she did with the pumpkin before speaking clearly and precisely a spell and POOF! The hat turned a marvelous kelly green color! It would go PERFECTLY with the little blonde's eyes! It would accentuate her eyes and blonde hair, oh, she was just so clever with color! But... The hat wasn't good enough yet. Ah! That was it! With another swish of her wand, two vibrant feathers appeared on the hat; one was a chic silver and the other was a stupendous rainbow. Now normally, she wouldn't allow rainbow, but it just seemed to work! And she always trusted her instinct. It had never lead her wrong before!
