Fenris smiled. "He's just joking, Violet." He laughed slightly, but then he saw Professor Blackwell leading his Charms Professor away from the pumpkins.

Mimiko blushed at him, following his lead and smiling shyly. "Yes?" She giggled at him. Giggled? Really Mimiko? She forced herself to get a grip, and just gazed at him shyly.

Mac laughed. "Yeah, sorry about that." He began the sketch on his drawing again, but Fenris' comment made him look over in the direction he pointed. Professor Blackwell was standing there with another professor, one he hadn't had yet. She was blushing. Mac hid his face in one of his hands. "Oh man, how do I keep finding myself around these sorts of conversations?!"

"O-oh, right." Still, she felt a little bad about what she had said. Following Fenris' comment, she spotted the flying professor and Professor Katsuragi talking in a corner. "I wonder what's going on over there?" she asked, giving Mac a confused look at his weird question.

Yellow wasn't sure why Isabelle didn't understand. "Sh-She changed my hat! I-I wanted it to stay like that...it was already ch-changed once....I-It's special..." Yellow felt silly with the way Isabelle had reacted.

"Oh. I'm sorry. I misunderstood." She still didn't quite understand WHY Yellow wouldn't have wanted a BETTER hat, especially because it seemed to have impressed Jim.

Doyle gazed down at Mimiko, taking both of her hands into his now. "So, the costume ball is coming up at the end of the month, and as teachers I know we sort of have to go as chaperones and all, but I was hoping you'd go with me. As my date?"

Mimiko's face flushed. She managed to squeak out a quick and very excited, "Yes!", before blushing furiously and losing all her hold on words. She giggled a bit, and wanted to clamp a hand over her mouth before she could do something else embarrassing.
"I'd love to, Doyle." She finally managed.

Yellow had ran away from Jim after telling him what had happened to her hat, Did she just now recognize him? It was depressing, but at least she recognized him now… “Hi, Yellow!” He smiled. “Long time no see.” He tilted his head slightly to the side.

"Great! Fantastic!" He grinned at her, relieved to hear that she had said yes. "So, um, I'll meet you in the Entrance Hall just before the dance starts?" It was a good central place to meet, since Mimiko's rooms were in the castle close to her classroom, while Doyle's were situated behind his office just off the Training Grounds.
