Felicianna slid down the railing of the bottom group of steps, looking around and at the time before determining she could still play on the stairs some more. Running up to the fourth floor, she sat in a corner with her feet swinging side to side as she watched the individual staircases shift from platform to platform according to the needs of each student. Feli giggled, skipping over to one and sitting on the steps. She rode it as it shifted for other students to pass, holding tightly onto the railing.

Wandering aimlessly around the school, Anri wondered if anyone else had a free period at this particular time. It was a Tuesday, and for some unknown reason, she only had one class on this particular day – Astronomy – and that wasn't until late at night. Naturally, this meant that one of her other days, Wednesday, was completely packed, but there really wasn't anything she could do about it. Descending a flight of moving stairs, she completely missed the brown-haired Hufflepuff sitting on the steps and, with a thump, tripped over her and found herself laying sprawled on the staircase.

Hearing the sound, Yayoi quickly emerged from a nearby classroom to see if anyone needed help. "Is everyone okay?" She asked quickly, vaguly recognising one of the girls from some class or another. Oh, what were the use of classes? Sleeping, and not all that comfortabley.

Sitting up awkwardly, Anri nodded. She pushed her displaced glasses back onto her nose, and brushed herself off. "I-I'm fine. Thank you for asking. Do I know you?" The newly arrived girl looked vaguely familiar, but then again, everyone did at this point.

Yayoi blinked. "I doubt it. I'm a third year Hufflepuff." Staring at the stranger, she wondered if she was truly alright. Was something wrong with her memory?

Maybe they had passed each other in the hallways at some point of another. Using the railing to pull herself up, Anri stood and offered a handshake to the girl. "In that case, my name is Anri. Fifth-year Ravenclaw. It's nice to meet you." She hoped the girl would offer a name. Referring to someone as 'the girl' was rather uncomfortable.

"I'm Yayoi Suzuka." She shruged. "People have been calling me 'Suzuka' because 'Yayoi' is too difficult to say... It's nice to meet you Anri."

"Ah, okay. May I call you Yayoi?" It probably would have been difficult to say for non-native speakers, but Anri thought that it was a nice name. Descending the staircase the last few steps, she came to a stop in front of Yayoi. "I really do appreciate your concer--" A thought ocurred to her. "Am I keeping you from class?" She recalled seeing the girl emerge from a nearby classroom, but whether Yayoi had simply been hanging out or participating in a lesson she did not know.

"I don't mind if you call me Yayoi." The hufflepuff looked back at her classroom. "No, you're not interupting me from class. I usually sleep through those anyways, so even if you were..." She left the rest of her sentence open ended.

Relieved, she flashed a polite but genuine smile at Yayoi. However, "Sleeping through class?" some classes honestly were yawn-worthy, but to sleep through all of them was a bit too much. "School isn't that boring for you, is it?" Anri knew that it was near impossible to fail a year (there had yet to be anyone, and there were some rather inept people in the past years), but the whole point of attending Hogwarts was to learn something.

"Not ALL the classes. Just the useless one. Like, History? Why do I need to know history? I can just ask the ghosts! My parents are muggles and they've been asking the ghosts about history for years." Yayoi felt the familiar twinge in her heart when she spoke of her parents.

"Ah... I suppose it has been a boring class for the past couple years." The talk of parents was somewhat awkward for Anri, considering the circumstances of her own parents' deaths, so she quickly deflected the topic to something safer. "Yayoi-chan, would you mind walking to the kitchens with me?" It was only a couple hours until lunch, but it would give them something to do.

Yayoi blinked, debating wheater or not to go. Seeing nothing wrong with it, she replied "Sure. Maybe I can find some pudding down there~" Yayoi liked pudding. She always made her own at home, and this girl seemed like a very respectable, nice, albeit slightly awkward person.

Moving forward, Anri began meandering towards the kitchens, gesturing for Yayoi to follow. "Mm... pudding sounds nice." Maybe some crab as well, if they had that. "Is Yayoi-chan going to the Halloween Ball?" That was a common topic these days, considering the proximity of the event.

"Halloween Ball?" Yayoi thought about it. "I suppose so... I mean, I have nothing better to do..."
