Appearance: He has short black hair and indigo eyes. He wears glasses. He’s 180 cm tall and quite thin in proportion to his height.
Personality:
Watanuki has a caring nature and he has gotten into some troubles because of it. He’s childish and naïve for being selfless. He usually doesn’t stand out much and has no desire to do so. He’s emotional and tends to exaggerate. It’s shown all over him. When he’s happy or excited he can sway his body and make weird squeaky sounds.
He can show his irritation in dramatic ways, such as erratic arm movements and various facial expressions. But, he only shows his irritation or anger to the people who are personally close to him. He generally treats people with politeness and kindness.
He’s a natural when it comes to cooking and he enjoys cooking very much. He’s tidy and good in housekeeping.
Canon history:
Watanuki is an orphan and lives alone. He’s been able to see spirits and other supernatural things since he was a child. He works part-time in a shop owned by a sorceress named Ichihara Yuuko.

AU history:
Watanuki’s parents had died for as long as he can remember. He has no known relatives and had lived his life so far in an orphanage. The orphanage had management problems and lack of employees. Watanuki had to help with cooking and housekeeping. It’s not that he didn’t like it. He’s basically a caring person and he loves to help. By helping around he developed his passion and ability in cooking and housekeeping.
When he was 11, the orphanage was at its limits and about to close down. At the same time came the letter from Hogworts. With no other place to go, he got enrolled to Hogworts.
Since he was a child, Watanuki has been able to see spirits and other supernatural things. Every day was not a peaceful day for Watanuki. Spirits come to him like they’re being pulled by a magnet.
He was unenthusiastic in enrolling to Hogworts. He’s been bothered by spirits all his life and refused to know more about the spirits and magic world. Nevertheless, he eventually learned to love his life in Hogworts.
He was surprised that the Hogworts ghosts can be seen by everyone, unlike the spirits that’s been bothering him in Japan. He even found out that some of the ghosts are nice and began to get comfortable in the magical world.
His boggart is in the form of two faceless people. The boggart symbolize his dead parents, whom he cannot remember at all.
House: Hufflepuff. Watanuki fits the traits of a Hufflepuff: kind, modest and loyal.
Magical Strengths and Weaknesses: He’s excellent in Potions. It’s like cooking to him (which is one of his talents). He is least capable in Transfiguration. His elective subjects are Care of Magical Creatures and Divination. He is somehow attracted to Divination.
Wand: A springy 11 inches ash wand.
Other: He’s friendly with Howgorts’ house elfs. They let him use the kitchen from time to time. (He often cooks by himself as a hobby and sometimes as a stress relief)

Watanuki looked around his bed with a satisfied look. He just finished tidying up and it’s perfect as usual. His eyes fell onto the bed next to his. A blanket had been thrown carelessly on top of it; socks scattered around it; rolls of parchments piling up on the bedside table; a robe hanging on the bed pole.
He let out a sigh. He walked to the bed and tidied it up. A smile came to his face when he recalled how the owner of the bed had jumped out of bed and dashed off to an early Quidditch practice (he was 20 minutes late). Watanuki was careful not to touch the pile of parchments; it might be important and he didn’t want to ruin it. Satisfied with his work, the 5th year student strode out of the room.
It was time to start his day.
