"Wow, cool thanks!" Mac took the chart and read through it. Most of the images were pretty simplistic, and yet their meanings were so in depth and at times a little random. He noticed that quite a few more than the majority seemed to be in some way connected to despair and death. "This seems like a pretty morbid practice," he commented.

And... telling someone that they're going to die has a greater impact than telling them that they'll find their lost sock."It was all speculation, of course, but she couldn't help but think that since death omens weren't time specific, they were pretty much useless. Death was inevitable, regardless.

Belle found the crystal ball, miraculously, in her trunk. She walked back down the girls' steps back to the common room, stepping carefully as to not drop the fragile object resting in her folded arms. As she walked in she heard the last snippet of the conversation between the two and smiled sheepishly, "found it! It was hidden at the very bottom under some books I had brought." She placed the intricate stand down on the table and the clear ball on top of it triumphantly.
