Tea Time {Closed: Mimiko and Rosalina}

Mimiko sat at her desk, enjoying a wonderful new cup of tea. It was a British kind so it was a little harsher than the simple Green she normally drank, but it was delicious.

She was reading a new book, a novel about Vampires and police officers. She wasn't entirely sure why she loved it so much: It wasn't her usual style. But she'd caught the name from some of her students' conversations, and figured she would read it, just so that she knew what they were referring to. She liked to at least KNOW what her students were talking about, even if it wasn't Charms. It allowed her to know if what they were talking about was appropriate, or if it was something she needed to course correct.

This book was okay (except for the myths surrounding the Vampires' biting and what it did to humans - honestly, who came up with such a thing?). She actually found herself enjoying it.

Sir-Pounce-A-Lot stared at her open door, seriously considering leaving her there. It was so BORING when his mistress read. She would be completely sucked in, and no amount of cuddling or purring would shake her. He gave a heavy cat-sigh and plopped down, too tired to actually leave.

Rosalina yawned lazily, she was rather bored and needed to do something. It was a Saturday, and there were no classes to teach or papers to grade, which was highly unusual. As she walked down the hallway, she noticed Mimiko’s door was ajar. Oh, I hope she’s not too busy… she said to herself, lightly knocking on the door. She didn’t want to remain bored all day, and she couldn’t just sit there with nothing to do, why not have at least a quick friendly chat with someone? “Mimiko?”

Mimiko looked up from the book, smiling when she saw her friend, of sorts. She supposed they were friends, being two of the few female teachers, and the only ones that really interacted with each other.

"Ah, hello Rosalina! I was just catching up on some reading." She gave the woman a smile, and with a flick of her hand sent the book back to its place on her shelves. "Would you like a cup of tea? I have some brewed."

“I would love some tea!” she smiled brightly, glad to have someone to talk to for a while. She strolled into the room and took a seat on the side of the desk opposite of Mimiko, spreading her hands out along her dress to prevent it from getting wrinkled. “How have you been lately, Mimiko?"

Mimiko blushed, thinking about her date with Doyle just earlier. "Great, actually!" She smiled, trying to wave away her blush. "I went on a trip to Hogsmeade with Doyle not too long ago." She winked at the woman. "Told you I would work on him~!"

She giggled a bit. “I knew you would! So what happened on your date?” she smiled and tilted her head in nosy curiosity.

"Well, we mostly sat around and shared some butterbeer. I made a COMPLETE fool out of myself, as normal, but he was a perfect gentleman about it. And apparently my blush is cute." She blushed here, out of personal embarrassment. Then she took a mug down from one of her shelves and watched it fill itself with tea, then floated it over to Rosalina.

"So how have you been?"
