((ffts is feel free to stalk~)) Yayoi was sitting in the Great Hall, writing several letters. The first to her parents. They would never read it.... The Suzuka family would never become ghosts, for they knew all to well the dark, perverse reality of that path.
"The transient nature of life is what makes it so precious and magical!" Her mother used to tell her. "A woman, nay, a person, must always prespect that!"
The young Hufflepuff rubbed a tear from her eyes. When the letter was complete, she would burn the paper, so her parents mgith read the ashes in heaven.
The second letter contained a few notes and jokes for her friends back home, accpeting their condolences, and reassuring them of her health, mental and physical.
The third letter was of a different nature entirely. The adressed simply stated "To whomsoever may assist" The parchement detailed an inner tormoil and confusion she would never admit to aloud. Yayoi could barely stand to bring the words to ink.
Feeling her face flush at her own words, she looked around to ensure her solitude. Upon discovering the calming silence, she returned to her writing, the rose making a retreat from her face. Absorbed in her work, she slipped away from reality. Temporarily anyways.
((Okay, I really hate history class, okay?))

John popped up on the other side of the table, leaning forward, completely almost invading Yayoi's personal space. The Hufflepuff was completely absorbed in her work... Which was...? She was writing something! What? What? What? Was it a letter home? That's usually what students wrote, right? But why were there three pages? That must be a really long letter! His own usually consisted of a page... half a page.... a quarter of a page... Maybe a sentence or two! But that was only because he was so used to IMing! And his dad sent letters back lickety-split! So it all worked out!
"So, hey, dude, what are you doing?"

Yayoi nearly jumped out of her skin, and did, in fact fall out of her chair, sending the letters flying. "JOHN!" She screamd, unnessicarily loud. It was unnerving to have the subject of one of her letters apear... "W-w-what are you doing here?" she asked quickly, scrambling to grab the third letter before he saw it. Where did it go?!

((I DON'T KNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW /sob Actually, it was cause I didn't have a pass today, you know that =3=))
John jumped back, just as surprised as Yayoi was. He didn't expect her to scream. Or jump up. Or react in anyway at all! Man, girls are difficult to understand!
"I just saw you over here and I thought you'd be lonely!" John watched as Yayoi struggled to pick up all her papers. Oh, right! He'll help her pick them up, no problem! And be this awesome hero like guy, right?! Like that rough and tough guy that also has a sweet side... but only shows it at the worst of times when people need him! Like now! He'd be that rough-and-tough-hero-guy-that-only-shows-his-soft-side-in-situations-like-this! He'd help-- A piece of paper obscured his view, fluttering down from above. What was it? Was it one page of her uber long letter? He snatched it out of the air, all cool guy like, careful not to crumple or rip the sides.
"Ma'am, I think you dropped this." Oh man! If only he had a hat [like a cowboy hat!] or something so that he could tip it down and look out from underneath the brim! That would've been so cool!

((I know, but then I got to school late and couldn't get on a computer... Or a seat...)) Yayoi nearly fainted when she realized John had grabbed the letter, about him no less!, out of the air. She took it so as not to raise suspicion, and muttered "Thank you..."
She almost smiled, but tried to restrain herself. "You... you did.... I mean... Surprise me... And I was... a little lonely..." Yayoi's face burned a bright red, grateful that John had decided not to read the letter.
"I was just writing a few letters..." Yayoi said, calming herself back into her natural state. "One to my parents, another to my friends and a third..." she cut off abruptly. Come ON, brain, start working! She couldn't tell him that!

"I surprised you? That's great! Sur's are the best prizes!"
He laughed at his own joke, happy to annoy make another person smile.
"Letters? Oh! I write letters too!"
He grinned, thinking back to all the one-sentence letters he sent to his Dad and all the multi-paragraphed letters he got back. Letters were pretty cool; not as fast as Pesterchum, but not EVERYONE can have Pesterchum-- Did wizards even know about it? He should introduce them to Pesterchum! Then everyone would be able to use it! And they could all talk! And it would be aweso-- Wait... They didn't have computers here... Well, that idea went flying out the window (And he was pretty sure it couldn't fly, so he wouldn't be seeing it again).
"Oh, hey! Are you feeling all right?" John frowned, cocking his head to the side quizically. Yayoi had turned red. Like... Bright red. Was she sick??

Yayoi was startled by his seemilngly disappearing act. What in the world could he have thought about for that long? When he asked if she was alright, she jummped.
"What? Oh, yes, of course, I'm fine!"
((Shitty answers.... sleeeepy....))
