Entering the kitchen, Anri was accosted by a flurry of noises and aromas. Directing herself to a short, well-worn table, she sat down on an equally worn stool.

((FOUND IT!)) Yayoi followed Anri, replying "Yes well... I kind of... ditched that class.... I had... other things to do..."

"Other things?" Admittedly, the old flying instructor had been rather inept (and the new one was overqualified), but flying had still been a fun class.

"Yes...." Yayoi admitted eventually. "I was too busy talking to ghosts.... I... spent a lot of my first three years talking to ghosts..."

Brows furrowing with concern, Anri asked, "Just the ghosts?" Though the ghosts were sure to have interesting stories to tell, letting them monopolize one's time wasn't healthy. "What about your friends?"

"My friends all live back in my village. They're muggles. I send letters to them a lot, but it's not the same... Anyway, my families always been close to ghosts, learning about them, the mistakes we make, and that they've made." Yayoi explained.

Anri frowned. "But what about school friends?" Yayoi spoke again, and Anri added, "It must have been interesting, growing up next to ghosts..." she motioned to a house elf for some food.

Accepting two bowls of pudding from a house elf, Anri slid one across the table to Yayoi. "Mm, well, that's life." She knew all to well how depressing life could be. Taking her spoon, she took a bite of pudding.

((OOC; Isn't there a spellcheck feature available if you hit 'Reply' rather than using the quick reply feature?))
Watching as Yayoi scooped mounds of pudding into her mouth, Anri murmured, "You must really love pudding."

"Then you'll have to make some for me some time." Anri proposed, smiling at the prospect. It would be nice to spend time doing tasks such as cooking with a friend.

Yayoi nodded. "I haven't made pudding in a while, so I may be a bit rusty...."

Swallowing another spoonful of pudding, Anri proceeded to put down her spoon and pushe her near empty bowl aside. "I'm sure that pudding made by someone that adores pudding like you do is bound to be delicious."
