The aroma was amazing. Standing behind Yayoi, Anri was sorely tempted to eat the food herself. Shaking her head, she reminded herself of the task at hand. "Yayoi-chan, are you ready?"

Yayoi nodded and smiled. "I kind of went... overboard..."

"It's fine. You're a good cook." Covertly, she pilfered a piece to try. Delicious.

Yayoi smiled. Her mother had taught her how to cook, and she was happy someone liked what pieces were left of her mother...

Tugging the vials out of her bag, Anri lined them up on the counter, near a pile of oranges. Looking to Yayoi, she asked, "What do you want to do first?"

Yayoi shrugged. "What can we do?" she asked tentatively.

Picking up a first glass vial, Anri inspected it. "This one induces people to talk at freakishly fast speeds for an entire hour." Supposedly. She had never tried the flashing orange liquid before.

Sighing, Anri picked up another vial, this one a swirling grey-green. "This one causes physical changes in people. I'm not sure how, though. I found the recipe scribbled in the back of a book, and the ingredients were rather odd." Setting it back down, she glanced at Yayoi.

Yayoi smiled, and injected the potion in to all manner of foods, then handed the empty vial back to Anri.

Taking the empty vial back from Yayoi, Anri accidentally knocked another, full, vial down with her elbow. The inconspicuously clear liquid spilled out of the tipped vial, and dowsed the nearby pile of oranges. "Oh my..." she gasped.

"What does that do...?" Yayoi asked, suddenly worried.

Quickly lifting the overturned vial, Anri scrambled for an answer to Yayoi's question. "I think.... that this one was the antidote for the potion we just used." Staring at the two empty vials, she wondered if it had actually been like that. Or was it actually the other way around?
