It was silent, as one would expect a library to be. What one wouldn’t expect would be all the books lined across the shelves to be covered with frost and the pages dampened. Outside the library doors the two dementors hovered about, sensing a soul nearby.
((Mod Note: If your character(s) are currently taking part in the battle in the Great Hall, or any of the other dementor locations, they cannot be present in any of the other dementor attack threads, unless they manage to escape their current location.))

Kurogane had decided to give the ball a miss, something had happened between him and another student and he kind of felt like hiding, besides it would give him a chance to catch up on his studies... well it would of if he hadnt of fallen alseep over the books he was supposed to be reading.
He stired a little when the temperature dropped, opening his eyes slowly to see the frost covering the books and pretty much everything else in the library. He sat up glancing around him. Hand moving to grab his wand that was laying on the table next to his ink and quill.

It was the time of year that you'd expect Fai to enjoy...there were silly costumes, pranks being played and copious amounts of sweets and chocolate. Usually he'd be the first one trying to wrangle a bunch of students together to go trick-or-treating around the common rooms, classrooms and teachers rooms....but this year he had other things on his mind. Admittedly, he still dressed up and went to the ball (he even had a range of ideas, from a mummy, to a vampire, to a cat...because he made a good Kitty, if he did say so himself) but he'd left early on because the one person he'd been hoping to see hadn't turned up.
It had been nearly 2 months since the Hogsmeade incident, and there had been no chance to talk to Kurogane about it, because they'd been avoiding the topic, and eachother. It saddened him....without Kurogane to pester, life was pretty boring....he missed the friendship.
With a sigh, Fai wandered a little. The common room would probably be empty, but he had a feeling that he'd probably then have to watch as random couples snuck in to take advantage of the privacy whilst everyone else was at the dance. Where else then....the grounds...but it was cold out....the kitchens would be out of bounds, as the house-elves were busy with the feast. He instead made his way to the library, figuring that no-one would be in there, and he could distract himself with reading. He shivered a little as he walked, but made it to the library without incident.
When he wandered in he noticed someone asleep at the table...it took a moment before he realised who it was. Hesitantly he approached, hand reaching out as if to wake the hufflepuff....but he pulled it back, thinking better of it. Instead he headed into the stacks to find a book, peeking through to see if the young man woke, trying to figure out what to say to him. After a little while though, it started to get unbareably cold....Fai's skin was pale and covered in goosebumps....he glanced down at the book in his hand, the pages frostcovered and brittle, snapping in his fingers. He felt a wave of dread and dizzyness.....memories he'd tried to repress were surfacing, and it was all he could do to lean on the bookshelf behind him as he fought to hold back the tidal wave of bad thoughts and memories.
