Name: Vincent Valentine
Series: Final Fantasy VII
Gender: Male
Age and year/Age and job: 60, Transfiguration Professor
Appearance: Vincent is a tall man, standing roughly at six feet. He has long black hair and wears a red headband. He has deep crimson eyes, and he wears a red tattered cloak held in place by several zippers and buckles. Under his cloak, he wears a simple black outfit with an assortment of belts and zippers. As a result of his pale skin and red eyes, he’s often mistaken by younger students as a vampire.
Personality: Vincent is a bit of a loner. He tends to come off as cold and uncaring, but he has a definite soft side to him. He rarely speaks, but whenever he does, it’s almost always bound to be something important. He tends to keep secrets and thoughts to himself, only confiding in those that he fully trusts. As a result of various events from his past, however, Vincent doesn’t trust very easily, and he holds a great distrust of the Muggle world.
Once Vincent trusts someone, he tends to open up a bit more. He does laugh and smile, contrary to popular belief, and he can trust people, it just takes time. Once someone does manage to gain his trust, he's loyal to a fault. If someone angers him, Vincent goes out of his way to exact his revenge, no matter how petty it may be. In that sense, one could consider Vincent to be a bit immature.
Canon history: In Final Fantasy VII, Vincent was a former Turk who was assigned to take care of Lucrecia Crescent during the JENOVA experiments, along with Dr. Hojo. After she fell in love with Hojo and became pregnant with his son, she became deathly ill and Vincent blamed Hojo for experimenting on the fetus (which was true), ending up with Vincent getting shot in the chest, experimented on by Hojo, and barely revived by Lucrecia. He spent 25 years after then locking himself in a coffin until the main party found him in the basement.
~AU Info~
AU history: Vincent was an only child. When he was young, his mother passed away, so it was technically just him and his father, but his father was never home, so it was essentially him. He had always had a strange attraction to magic, and when he received his Hogwarts letter, he was unusually ecstatic. His father, however, thought it nothing more than a joke and nearly threw away the letter, were it not for an actual wizard showing up and proving it’s legitimacy.
Once Vincent arrived, he immediately fell in love with the very school itself, as well as a beautiful Muggle-born girl by the name of Lucrecia. After he graduated, the two moved in together in a small home in the United States, Lucrecia’s home country. While there, Vincent acquired a job for a local lab as a security guard, the same lab where Lucrecia was working on some strange project.
One night, however, Lucrecia was injured by her colleague. Vincent immediately rushed to avenge her once he heard, but it just ended with him getting shot through the heart.
After the incident, Lucrecia left Vincent, calling him an idiot for nearly getting killed. Vincent immediately spiraled into a horrible depression for many years, only pulling away when he received a letter from Hogwarts saying they needed a Transfiguration teacher.
Vincent’s patronus takes the form of a large vampire bat, and his boggart is seeing Lucrecia get shot by her co-worker.
House: As a student, Vincent was in the Slytherin house.
Magical Strengths and Weaknesses: Vincent is (obviously) good at transfiguration. He also is very good at charms and Herbology, for some unusual reason.
Wand: A hornbeam wand. It is eleven inches long. The core consists of kraken heartstring.
Other: Vincent usually keeps a coffin in his classroom for him to lay in, claiming it offers good back support. He really keeps it around to see the student’s reactions. Also, while his real age is around 60, physically he looks no older than 25.

Vincent leaned back in hiscoffin chair, studying the assorted homework assignments that sat in front of him. The task was simple enough, turn a mouse into cheese. He picked up a still-furry rodent that was the color and texture of an old block of Feta and grimaced. “You, my furry friend, are an unholy mess.” He muttered to the mouse as he changed it back into its original fuzzy format. He placed the mouse on the table, watching it scurry around an nibble on the other homework Vincent had scattered on his desk. He sighed, as the mouse leapt onto another failed, still-living Transfiguration. He had a lot of work ahead of him.
