Arms overflowing with various books and supplies, Anri nearly crashed into a wall before she reached her final destination, a nondescript room with a few wooden tables and chairs situated on thick white rugs. Dropping the items unceremoniously onto one of the circular tables, she stretched and turned towards the open doorway, waiting for Shion and the rest of the materials to arrive. This would be amusing, to put it lightly.

Carrying a simple large bag of supplies, Shion casually ventured into the room shortly after Anri. She was smiling from ear to ear, but it was a devious smile. The two girls were on a mission; an almost evil mission.

Mouth widening into a smile to match Shion's, Anri pulled out two giant sheafs of paper and a couple quills, along with inkwells. Spreading the papers out onto the table, she spoke. "Ready, Shion-senpai?" They had a daunting, though thoroughly rewarding, task ahead of them.

"Of course, Anri-chan!" Shion took a seat beside her beloved friend, spreading out her own materials. Bows, scissors, string and fabric of all colors fell out of her bag. "Now, what would best suit our subject?"

Taking a moment to contemplate, Anri fingered some of the fabric. "Maybe some pastels. A lighter, effeminate color such as pink or yellow, perhaps?" Considering who the dress was for, something overly flamboyant in color might look ridiculous. She picked up a rosy pink roll of cloth.

"Oooh, yeah! With some soft silky yellow fabric as trim..." Shion picked up the roll described and looked it over, thinking carefully. "Maybe purple bows?"

"That'd be cute. Maybe the thinner, ribbon-like kind. Do we want to make it strapless?" Taking a quill, she dipped it into the inkwell and sketched a nondescript ballroom gown, labeling some parts with colors and fabric types.

Shion thought for a moment, before shaking her head. "I think it would be adorable with little spaghetti straps. What do you think?" She glanced over the other girl's shoulder, watching her draw.

Adding the aforementioned spaghetti straps onto the dress, Anri paused, quill suspended in the air above the parchment. "We should attach a flower onto one of the straps. Left or right?" Maybe a sunflower, or a carnation.

Shion closed her eyes and pointed to a random shoulder. She didn't really care which one. When she opened them, she nodded to herself. "This one. The right. What kind of flower, and what color?"

Making a few short, round strokes with the quill, Anri outlined a roselike flower near the bottom of the right strap. "Rather than a real one, how about we make a mock rose out of light pink silk?" Her quill flashed back down the the skirt area, and drew the wide base of a stereotypical ball gown.

"That would be cute!" Shion grinned in excitement. She picked up some fabric, and began to attempt to make a rose out of it, for practice. But she had never been very good at origami.

Putting down her quill, Anri joined Shion in attempting to make silk rose via origami. Two failed attempts later, she gave up and summoned a book from her pile. Deftly flipping through the pages, giving the slightest of pauses at the table of contents, she located a page about making flowers out of sheets of material. Eyes flitting down the two page spread, Anri focused on a section dealing with roses. "Shion-senpai, try doing it like this." She pointed to the section.

Shion watched Anri closely, and tried her best to copy her movements. Of course she didn't get it at first; she continued to screw up. But after several tries, she finally managed to make a lovely rose out of the fabric. She grinned. "Thank, Anri-chan. Origami... was never my thing, even back in Japan."

"Ah...no problem." Looking at Shion's rose, and then at the dress sketch, she picked up a large roll of pink cloth. "We should get started on the dress." Spinning the roll, a long sheet of fabric unrolled, fluttering slightly before resting partially on the ground. The pooled cloth was about to turn into a full length gown.
