Shion nodded, staring at the fabric. Good thing she knew how to sew, lest they be at a loss. Shion dropped into a chair and began to work with some clothe, matching colors together to form a pretty little pattern.

Bending forward, hands resting on her knees, Anri watched as Shion began crafting a dress from the cloth. It was a good thing Shion could sew, because Anri really wasn't the best at it.

Pouting a little, Shion furrowed her brows. "Ahhh! I wish we had Ma-chan here for size!"

At Shion's words, Anri scrambled for one of the books. Flipping it open, she pulled out a piece of scrap paper. "I made some approximates based on Ma-chan's height... would this be okay?" Ma-chan was pretty slim, so even if they overestimated they could just pin it later.

Shion looked over the notes, nodding to herself with a smile. "Yeah, yeah!" She took the paper away, and began to work once more, occasionally glancing at the paper for reference.

Whilst Shion was working on the gown, Anri got to work measuring and cutting a thinner, somewhat see-through fabric into workable sheets. The filmy material could be layered around the skirt area of the dress to create depth.

As she was working, Shion began to imagine Ma-chan in the dress. Oh, how adorable!! She squeed a little, with some giggles.

Having cut the material into square sections, Anri picked up one piece and began hemming the edges to give it a more finished feel. As she did, she mused on ways to drape the fabric around the skirts.

Shion stood, and wrapped a piece of long fabric around her waist. With a giggle, she began to twirl around. "Look, Anri-chan! I'm Ma-chan!"

Dropping the material, Anri stood up and giggled, pulling a strip of golden cloth out and onto Shion's head. "You look very cute today, Ma-chan~" Anri joked.

Shion cleared her throat, before mustering up a half-girl, half-manly voice. "Why thank you, Anri-chan!"

"Does Ma-chan like roses?" Smiling, she offered a cloth rose to Shion. "They're in season right now, please, take one." Ironically, even real roses were out of season right now.

"Oooh!!" her eyes sparkled as she took a rose. "I love roses! They're so pretty Just like you, Anri-chan~" Shion snorted out a laugh.

Giggling almost unstoppably by that point, Anri barely choked out a reply of, "I don't... hold a candle... to you." Regaining a semblance of calm, she took a deep breath and let out another, final giggle. "Shion-senpai, how far are you on the dress?" Like this, they might end up repeating the pumpkin carving attempt. Key word being attempt.

"Uhm..." Shion looked over her work, and then at the fabric in her hands. "Well, I have some of the top down. I just need to attach this to get started on the actual dress part." She took a seat and began to work again.
