Kuro ducked and dived between the towers of hogwarts following the snitch, he was practicing his broom control by chasing the snitch. He found it enjoyable to chase the golden orb around and speed around after it.
Kurogane wasn't very good at spells most of the time but this was something he could do. He grinned noticing the snitch dive down wards and cut through one of the tunnels leading to one of inner courtyards of the school. Kurogane followed it diving down wards speeding towards the ground before shifting to cut through the same tunnels. Following the snitch as it darted left and back up over one of the buildings.
Kuro continued to follow it slowly gaining on it when it leveled out high above the school, he focused on it blocking everything out. Snatching it from the sky then headed back down to the ground landing gracefully stepping off his broom he smirked at the snitch now that it had been caught. Sitting down after placing the snitch in its case and closing it so that it couldn't get away again. He relaxed slowly coming down off the high of flying and the chase.

Yellow hadn't quite gotten up as high as Kuro, but a small yellow figure was just visible wobbling along a little above ground level. As usual, the school broom was pushingn her around and taking her higher than she wanted to go, causing her to nearly fall off.

Kurogane saw the young Hufflepuff struggling with her broom, he stood mounting his broom again and moved up to be beside her. He wasnt the best person for conversation... espeicaly when it meant starting one.
"You ok?" he asked trying not to sound as scary and annoyed like he usually did. He didnt want her falling off and breaking her neck, besides she was a fellow Hufflepuff... they had to stick together.

Yellow's eyes widened as she turned her head to face Kuro. "I-I think so...I-I-I haven't fallen yet th-this time...." She was completely oblivious to any kind of threat he might pose...as with everyone else. She was that odd little Hufflepuff that decided to be friends with Slytherins and thought Ravenclaws were scary and decided that she wanted to learn how to heal people before ever learning anything else. Yeah, she wouldn't have been afraid of him even if he had been trying to be gruff and scary.

"are you just getting some practice in?" he asked then seemed to realise that it was a bit of a dumb question, of course she was why else would she be out here trying to stay on it.
He sighed silently berating himself for being so stupid, but stayed quiet to wait for her reply.

"Y-Y-Yeah...Marshall told me I would never b-be able to play Quidditch...whatever that is....until I get some m-m-more practice..." She flew in yet another little circle and glided a little lower, trying to stay with Kurogane, but having trouble directing her broom.

Kurogane slowed down so that she could keep up, glancing over his shoulder to make sure she hadnt fallen off the broom.
"Everyone has to start slow when learning how to fly the broom," said kurogane "the first time i tried i fractured my wrist," he said trying to make her feel better. He had injured himself the first time he'd gotten onto a broom but he had slowly gotten better with practice he was sure she would to.

"You'll be fine... I can catch you if you fall," said Kurogane seeing how worried she looked. "maybe i can give you some lessons? ot tips?" said Kurogane.
He wasnt sure how good he would be a teacher, he wasnt good at expressing himself.

"Th-That might be good...I-I'm not very good....even after Marshall took the time t-to help me." She really was quite hopeless when she was left on her own, but she had actually gotten pretty good during the class with Jim right there and being under pressure.

"Then i'll do what i can to help.... if anything..." said Kurogane, he wasnt very good at explaining things. But he would try and help her if he could "So... what do you struggle with while flying? anything in particular or is it everything?" he asked floating in place in the air next to her.
His broom remained steady and he even let one hand let go the other one kept a grip on the broom. But his attention was on the girl beside him.

Kurogane didnt flinch when Yellow swerved towards him, just kept on going straight. "Dont be afraid of it... The broom does what you tell it to," said Kurogane glancing at her. "you guide it with your body.. think of it as being like riding a bike but without the peddling. Guide it to where you want to go," said Kurogane shifting his weight to pull away from her then smoothly moved back towards her, returning to her side.

"B-But I never rode a bike!" Her problem was that her broom was responding to what she was focusing on. It seemed like it could read her mind. If she was thinking about speed, even if it was how much she didn't want to go fast, the broom would speed up. And now that she was thinking about her conversation with Kurogane, and how nice he seemed, she was getting closer and closer to hitting him.

"Ah..." said Kurogane sighing trying to decide the best way to teach her, he had looked away from her rubbing his chin as he thought.
He didnt seem to notice her getting closer to him, lost in thought as he tried to figure out how to help her.
