At the very last second she grabbed Kurogane's arm in a deathgrip and clung to him, trying not to let her broom get any closer. "It's doing it again!!"

Kurogane jumped a little when she grabbed him, the control of his broom faltered a little and the swerved to the right til he got it back under control.
"calm down!" he said to her straightening up a little shifting to remove the deathgrip from his arm holding her hand a little to steady her. "Concentrate on going lower.... think about going slowly to the ground," he said thinking to his own broom to start decending trying to get her and her broom to follow him slowly to the ground.

Yellow thought about the ground, and it slowly began to consume all of her thoughts. The broom dropped down towards the ground then shot off toward gryffindor tower. "HELP!!!!" This was SO MUCH worse than when she was learning....or when she was flying with Marshall. "I think I did it wrong!!"

Kurogane watched as she managed to descend a little, then winced when she shot off towards one of the towers. Yanking his arm roughly, he let go but was soon hot on her trail speeding after her. He pulled along side of her even as they drew closer to the tower and reached out to grip her broom willing it to slow down. Turning them a little hoping he managed to slow them down enough. He made sure that he would hit the wall first if they didnt managed to stop in time.
Kuro braced himself just in case. Making sure that he gripped Yellow just incase she fell.

The brooms stopped inches from the wall, and Yellow screamed instinctively. But there wasn't any pain. She looked up at Kurogane and realized that he wasn't hurt either. Did that mean they survived?! "Th-Thank you..."

Kuro was glad that they had stopped in time he looked at her making sure she was ok because she had almost deafened him with that scream, then checked himself. He heard her say thank you and blushed no one had ever thanked him.
"it was nothing," he said leading both brooms down to the ground, thinking it was safer for both of them if they were on the ground for now.

The biggest question in Yellow's mind was why everyone except her seemed to be fantastic at flying...so what were they doing that she wasn't?! She had done everything the instructor said...it just hadn't worked. Which was always bad. If only she could figure out how to do things right.

Kurogane seemed lost in though, trying to figure out why her broom seemed to not want to listen to her at all. Well.... it did a little but then seemed to concentrate on one thing and do whatever it was that she seemed to be afraid of doing.
Kurogane seemed to continue to be lost in his thoughts, remaining silent as they stood together.

Kurogane's silence was making Yellow just a little bit nervous. "U-Ummm...?" Was she really that useless?! She was probably hopeless! That must by why he was being quiet. He must think she should never try to fly a broom again!

Kurogane heard her start 'umming' and turned to look at her pulling himself from his thoughts.
"Sorry i was trying to think of a way to help you.... but i'm really not sure," he said sighing wishing that he could think of some way to help her. but not being able to think of something now didnt mean that there wasnt anyway to help her... he probably just hadnt been able to think of it yet.

"Okay....I didn't know. I'm sorry." She smiled, not sure what he would think of her if she gave into her impulses and hugged him. So instead she just climbed back onto her broom and kicked off, hovering just a little off the ground.

Kurogane watched her as she floated around on the spot, waiting to see if something went wrong. But she seemed to be doing ok, but the broom seemed to have a mind of its own.
Kurogane felt a little useless not really knowing how to help her, he thought again to try and remember anything that might help. Maybe Fai would be better helping her than he was?

She had slowly been getting the hang of controlling the broom, but no matter which broom she used it seemed to have a mind of its own...and from what the others seemed to be doing, magic wasn't allowed outside of class except for assignments. So she couldn't do that thing without breaking the rules. She had done it the first time she had flown when she thought the broom might crash and kill her and after that time, the broom had understood her. But she hadn't tried using her special talent again. She slowly flew a little bit more, weaving back and forth with the broom, concentrating every fiber of her small body on making the broom do what she was trying to tell it to.

((sorry.. i have been meaning to reply here for a while))
Kurogane watched her silently not wanting to break her concentration while she was doing so well. He silently willed her to keep it up, and hope that she didnt end up almost killing herself. Kurogane held his broom close just incase she needed a quick save.
