Rita, not having realized the voice was directed at her having been too absorbed in her research, continued scrawling away and pondering over the formulas. When several moments had passed and she heard no response come from anyone else, she looked up and saw the boy holding out the leg of a chocolate frog to her. "No thanks," She said, rather flatly, her face rather apathetic.

Fenris looked at her. "Are you having problems with a spell? I think I could help. Maybe. She could probably help more." He gestured to Shion behind him.

"I'm not having any problems at all," Rita stated, turning her head back to her notes. "All that was on purpose," If she had decided to put the spell to the complete test, there was no telling what would happen. "besides, it's my own spell," She set down her quill and held the crowded up pages of the notebook so he could see. "I seriously doubt you could help me." She wasn't trying to be rude, but that was just the fact.

Shion rose, taking a few steps closer to get a good look at the girl’s notes. “You’re creating your own spell, hm? Very impressive.” She flashed another smile.

"Yeah, well, it's no big deal...." Rita averted her eyes, her face becoming somewhat flustered. It really was no big deal. She had been trying to put it together for on and off ever since she had gotten to hogwarts, and still she was only able to do so much.

Shion nodded. "Oh, it is a big deal! You're doing something that sixth years aren't even doing; well, not yet from what I've seen, anyway.." She grinned. "What kind of spell is it?"

"It's really nothing, just a silly little spell." Rita shot back somewhat coldly. She didn't like being bothered while she was working on her research. She hardly ever found the time to do so, thanks to homework and class studies, and these two were eating it up. Though, she couldn't deny it was nice to be talked to.

Shion took a step back and fell silent; this girl clearly did not like being interrupted. But her smile did not falter. Keep the tough guy facade up, dear, it only works on those who trust others.

Fenris could tell that there were definite "catfight" sparks between Shion and this other Slytherin. "So... If I'm not needed any more..." He turned to go.

Shion glanced at Fenris as he began to leave. However, she definitely did not want to be alone. "Ah, I suppose I should leave as well..." She scooped up her books, nearly dropping a few, before cramming the into her bag.

Fenris blinked. Was she going to follow him? Or was she just conveniently leaving at the same time? He stood there, caught in an awkward hiatus. If she left, he wasn't going to leave. But if she stayed...

With a quick smile to Fenris and the girl, Shion hoisted her bag over her shoulder, and clicked her way to the door. “I’ll see you two around another time, then!” With that, she was gone.
Forget my studying. I need a vacation… And she knew just the place to go.

Fenris watched Shion disappear, and then took his spot back on the couch. Turning, he glanced at the other girl. "So... Your spell... What will it do when you're done?"

Rita, having been more interested in where Shion was going, nearly missed Fenris' question entirely. "Huh? Oh, dunno yet" she replied, waving it off with her tone of voice. Rita followed the path that Shion had went and she had not exited off to the girls rooms, she had left for the main castle. After curfew. Hurriedly she packed all her notes away in her bag and set them on her chair. "Listen, uh..." She had yet to catch the other boys name. "I just remembered there was somewhere I have to be, sorry." Making sure she had her wand, she quickly left the common room, following after Shion. She had no idea where the older student was going but she had a bad feeling...

No, Shion had not been headed to her room. In truth, the Slytherin girl was headed out of the castle itself, and into the Forbidden Forest.
