~Character Info~
Name: Rita Mordio
Series: Tales of Vesperia
Gender:Female
Age and year/Age and job: 14/4th Year
Appearance: Not particularly tall, Rita stands at approximately 4 foot 11. She is particularly light weighted and petite. She has short, auburn color hair worn messily, and an earthy green shade of eyes.
Personality: Rita, short and sweet, really doesn’t have the patience for people. She spends most of her time working on her studies and doesn’t like conversing with others, due to most people not being able to keep up with her conversations. She spends so much time with her books that she comes off to others as pretty much a weirdo, though she doesn’t mind.
If someone tries to take the time to get to know her, she’ll warm up to the person little by little and sometimes attach herself to them. Even so she’d still act like most things are a nuisance and a bother, when really all she wants is to be included. She has a very sharp tongue and doesn’t hold anything back, always speaking exactly what is on her mind at any given time.
Canon history: Rita Mordio is a mage in Aspio that the party encounters on their search for a Blastia thief who used her name in order to frame her as a scape goat. She is a genius mage at the age of 15 is sort of the outcast of the city. She ends up pissed for being accused of such a thing and ends up following the party around in order to observe the magic used by Estelle, one of the members of the party more closely, who seems to be able to use magic without the use of a Blastia. ~AU Info~
AU history: Rita grew up in raised by a pure blood wizard and his muggle wife. She discovered her affinity towards magic at a young age and ended up secluding her self in her room in order to learn as much as she could about the subject. Her parents soon grew worried about her social skills and tried to get her to interact with others but she had none of it and wouldn’t listen, seeing other children her age (who were mostly muggles) as a bore and not worth her time. By the time she turned eleven and she received her letter for Hogwarts, she had already become exceptionally knowledgeable about the workings of the magical world and knew what to expect when she arrived. In her first year she was sorted into Slytherin, and quickly became somewhat ostracized by the other members of her house. She can usually be found either in her room, when working on a new spell, or in the common room, reading way too many books than the average person could handle. Her boggart takes the form of a mean, scary looking dog.
House: Slytherin house, due to her somewhat secluded nature and avoidance of people, much rather wanting to work on uncovering and devolping new spells and advancements in the wizarding world.
Magical Strengths and Weaknesses: Rita particularly excels at Arithmancy, Potions, and has a good knack for Charms. Even though she is very gifted with magic, she has trouble with Transfiguration and really couldn’t care less about History of Magic.
Wand: A vine wand, about Ten ¾ inches with a core of hippogriff tail.
Other: She’s always wearing a gold choker around her neck with a red stone in the center. She also is always wearing a pair of white goggles with red lenses on top of her head as well. Her patronus takes the form of a small ferret. She is also slightly prejudiced against muggle borns but she would never tell it straight to their faces.

“ARGHHH” Rita groaned loudly, ripping the page out of her notebook, crumpling it up into a little ball and tossing it onto the floor to join the dozen others that came before it. Dipping her quill back in her bottle of ink rather aggressively with irritation, she once again began scrawling numbers and symbols all over the page. She was so close to working it out! If she could get past that one road block, then the rest would be a piece of cake. She adjusted her position on the bed and began analyzing her data once more, looking for a clue. Anything she could’ve missed.
And then she saw it.
With a renewed sense of excitement she quickly turned to the next page and began writing.
