Appearance: Shion has soft, long emerald hair that reaches to the small of her back. Her eyes match her hair in color, and hold kindness within them. She is tall and thin, except for areas where it matters most to a woman. Shion is typically seen in a grey sleeveless V-neck shirt, and a black skirt.
Personality: Shion enjoys all things a generic girl would; shopping, make-up, dancing, singing, the list goes on. She especially loves her twin sister, Mion, and all of her friends. She is a hard worker, and goes to almost any length to do a good job on her tasks.
Shion is a truly sweet girl to those around her; always kind and willing to help. Her smile shines so bright that it makes nearly everyone she comes into contact with happy as well. However, she has a very dark side. She is a paranoid sociopath, and a ruthless killer. She lures her victims in with her charm and grace, and tortures them until they turn cold with death.
Canon history: In the series, Shion is not shown until a little later on, and is not seen as a main character. However, her twin sister Mion is a main character. Shion and Mion appear to be the best of friends in the beginning of the series. A boy named Satoshi captured Shion’s heart with his gentleness; however, he disappeared, presumed dead, after an annual ceremony. Shion, knowing that this has been done before, believes that her family has killed Satoshi due to troubles their families have had in the past. Shion then takes Mion’s place, kills all of her friends, and finally her own sister as an act of revenge.

AU history: Shion was born a privileged baby. The Sonozaki family was one of the Three Families that led her village, and seems to be the only one that does so in a brutal manner. The Sonozaki family has killed their enemies and those who defy them before, but, since they leave no trace, no one is sure how this is possible. The Sonozakis are powerful wizards, and use that to their advantage under the noses of all outsiders. Shion’s twin sister, Mion, is to be the next heir, for their mother lost her inheritance when she married an outsider. Shion grew up to learn magic’s power, but not quite how to use it. After going insane, Shion uses her magical ability, and her family’s torture chamber, to brutally murder several people. After this, Shion was sent away from the family, to the Salem Witches Institute, where she could be carefully monitored and learn to harness her power. However, Shion was defiant and manipulative, and so she has been transferred to Hogwarts, where it is believed that no one will be tricked by her, and in hopes that she may finally gain some self-control.
House: Shion would fit very well in the Slytherin house, for she is cunning, resourceful, and highly intelligent. She also is a pure blood wizard, which is something that Slytherin highly values.
Magical Strengths and Weaknesses: Shion’s strength is Charms. She uses charms mainly for curses and jinxes, but she also uses healing charms and other types. Her weakness is the History of Magic class, because she finds lectures to be boring, and often does not pay attention, for her mind wanders into different places.
Wand: Juniper wand. The length is eleven and one-quarter inches long. The core consists of hippogriff bone.
Other: Her Boggart would be the boy she loves telling her that he doesn’t love her, or even hates her.

“Click, click, click,” came the sound of boots tapping the floor as Shion Sonozaki strolled down the long corridor leading to her room. To each person she passed she gave a graceful smile, and flipped her long emerald hair over her shoulder in almost a flirtatious manner, before turning her eyes back to the floor. The teal in them had faded to a much less vibrant green hue, for the girl was deep in thought. I wonder how I can manage to make it out of this place as well. Damn those witches who sent me here! Her thin brows furrowed in frustration; however, they quickly rose once a feeling washed over her, a feeling that she had not felt for days. She turned her head in horror, searching the deserted hall to find the one who owned the extra footsteps, but she found none. Her paranoia was setting in once again, which, she knew, meant that she may need to lock herself away before another tragedy happens.
