As Dave went down, Masaomi whistled in awe. He sauntered over and clapped a hand on the frantic girl's shoulder. "I wouldn't worry about him to much, the guy kind of deserves it~"

Mimiko gasped. She rand over to the stupefied student, muttering a countercurse under her breath. She turned to Shion. "No using spells on other students in my classroom!" She turned to the one on the floor. "And no using spells against someone!"

"Eh, I kind of deserved it," Dave said, sitting up. "Sorry about the pillow." He raised a hand to readjust his shades - only to realize that they had fallen off. Mildly flipping out for a second, he performed a quick Summoning Charm, and retrieved them. He jammed them back on his face, hoping that nobody had noticed his irises were bright red.

Shion, her eyes never leaving the boy after apologizing, did happen to get a glimpse of his eyes. Through the slight shock, she looked away, seeing that he obviously wanted no one to know about them. Instead, she looked to the teacher, and whimpered another apology.

Mimiko gave Shion a reassuring smile. "Don't worry. That spell wasn't even really a bad one. You're fine." She floated another cookie down from the basket and handed it to her. "Everything's better with a smile and a sweet." Mimiko did notice that, although the boy had deserved her curse, he had hit with a pillow, and he had done this because he was bored. Having students of varying ages might be more complicated.
~Ah, but there's something I can do.~ She thought to herself. She left into her office, reassuring the class that she'd be back in just a few seconds.

Shion's embarrassment faded away as the cookie drifted into her hands. Everything really is better with sweets! she thought, nibbling away at her cookie, a wide smile on her face.

Mimiko came back in, with a cat treat. Immediately Sir-Pounce-A-Lot was by her side, mewling. She gave him the treat, and focused her wand on his back. "Watch closely class. Impervius!" She whispered and a flash of green light traveled from her to her cat. She then stepped back and grabbed the biggest, heaviest book she had. She angled it at the cat and sent it flying. As soon as it got within five inches, the book bounced away, skidding along the floor and stopping at her students' feet.
"Now, if you all do that spell... You can throw things without worry!"

Hmm....
Masaomi smirked and then fired the spell at Dave, then rapidly firing off 'wingardium leviosa' at several pillows and pelting them at his head, only to watch them ricochet off the air around him. He grinned widely. "Well what do you know, it works!"
((OOC: ten bucks says my most used word in this entire rp is grin or any other variation of the word OTL))

Mimiko smiled. Now everyone was enjoying themselves, and without any danger to the surrounding items, because she'd also cast the spell on everything breakable. "Good job Kida!"

Jim had finally gotten the hang of Wingardium leviosa when the professor was teaching a new spell. Impervius? Sounds cool. Maybe this one will be easier. He aimed his wand at his desk. “Impervious” The desk glowed green for a second. Did it work? He decided to throw something light at it in case he hadn’t done it right. He pointed his wand at an unoccupied pillow, calmly said “Wingardium leviosa” and flicked his wand toward the desk. The pillow promptly flew towards the desk and then ricocheted off and smacked him in the face. “Pffft! Get off.” He said swatting at the pillow. He hoped no one had seen that…

Shion was making good use of the spell, for herself, anyway. She aimed her wand at herself, and said "Impervius!" The green hue engulfed her, and she looked to Masaomi. "Throw something at me."

"Hm?" Masaomi turned when he heard Shion. Normally, he'd never stoop so low as to hurl an item at a lady. But, seeing as they were practicing a spell, and she had asked....
Masaomi spotted Sir-Pounce-A-Lot once again, aimed, and lightly arced it over to Shion, "Catch!"

"Oh, Sir-Pounce-A-lot!" The combination of the cat's Imperious spell and Shion's own sent the cat bouncing around the room, because, well, nothing could touch him. "Oh Pouncy..."
