On a first floor hallway, there was an office. It was neat and tidy, consisting of a desk mostly clear of items with a somewhat worn plush chair behind it, and an equally worn wooden one in front with a soft but slightly frayed seat cushion on it.
Despite these homey qualities, it was still obvious the office belonged to someone who dealt heavily with animals. One wall consisted of a bookcase housing texts on every ailment known to affect magical creatures of all sorts, and next to this stood a cabinet full of veterinary supplies. The next wall over had a table for treating animals. There were cages of all sorts, rough spun blankets and bins of food-stuffs along the other walls. Some of the cages had creatures in them, peacefully sleeping, pacing impatiently, or picking at bandages.
Professor Fiona Fluttershy, who's office this was, was sitting behind her desk, grading papers.

If rats could effectively stomp, Remy would have been doing it. Today hadn't been going his way at all. First, he woke up with a sore throat - never a good sign for a chef. And now, he'd found that his nemeses from home had managed to follow him here to the sanctity of his work! It wasn't enough that they'd invaded his bistro for a short amount of time. Noooo, now the little bastards were adding insult to injury and making an attempt to infest Hogwarts itself. And what were the little demons?
The blasted Chizpurfles.
The little buggers had caused all sorts of cauldron leaks and electricity short-outs in the bistro that it was downright ridiculous! Now, there were five of them, stuffed in a plastic baggie that was notably devoid of air holes, being carried in the mouth of a rat into Fluttershy's first floor office. Remy climbed up onto the seat of the wooden chair, squeaking almost inaudibly at Fluttershy. Rather than startle the poor woman too much, he decided that he'd wait until she either noticed him or finished grading one last paper... And then all Chizpurfle Hell would break loose.

Catching movement from the corner of her eye, Fiona looked up. Sitting in the chair across from her was a rat with a plastic baggy in its mouth. Now that wasn't something you saw everyday, and Fiona was momentarily at a loss for words. It was very clear from the way that it was looking at her that it was a smart rat, not just some pest who had stolen... something. Whatever was in the bag was too small for her to really see.
"Can I help you?" She asked, falling back on her default politeness even in the face of such odd circumstances.

This was a smart rat, indeed, for he nodded at her question. Remy put the baggie down on the seat of the chair, careful to hold it with one foot as he started to go on and on about the Chizpurfle menace.
It was mid-sentence, as he was pointing a paw toward the monsters, that he remembered that nothing was coming out of his mouth but furious squeaks... And so he stopped, leaving the bag in its place as he jumped down on the floor. Moments later, a thin wizard with blue-grey hair was standing in the rat's place, rolling his shoulders a smidge before taking the baggie in hand.
"I'm so sorry," he said, glaring at the baggie briefly before smiling over at his coworker. "I sort of forgot that you don't speak rat... Preofessor Fluttershy, right?" He hadn't had to steal a peek at her name tag by the door... No, not at all...

Rosalina’s heels clicked as she strided down the hallway, her gown swaying in time with the movement of her hips. She happened to see a rat holding a bag scurry into one of the Teacher’s offices, Curious… what on earth would a rat be carrying?… She looked at the name plate on the door: Fiona Fluttershy, Care of Magical Creatures Professor “Maybe it’s one of her pets.” She said softly to herself. Nevertheless, she was still curious and was always willing to learn something new about people, so she gently knocked on the door. “Ms. Fluttershy? May I come in?"
