I started a thread in the Forbidden Forest. Is it allowed to have werewolfs?

Would that mean like... Just like a NPC or whatever character or could one of the students/teachers be one as well~?

The problem with this is that while a werewolf is vicious while transformed, they are an ordinary wizard when not. Therefore it would be too confusing to bring in an NPC just for the sake of causing danger. It would be better to use a different type of creature, one that wouldn't have to be accounted for in the morning.

on a slightly related note...what about vampires? Just considering ways to torture....um....play with my muse....and given in his cannon he ends up becoming a vamp, i was wondering if sometime in the distant future it would be ok.

Thank you for the answer!
Does anyone have any idea how we should go with the thread? *slaps myself for starting the thread without thinking it through*

Fai; if through a chain of events Fai becomes a vampire, that is a-ok. But it is worth considering that in the Harry Potter 'verse vampires are not really considered wizards, though they are thought of as 'beings' by the Ministry of Magic, so they definitely have rights. They are discriminated against by some of the wizarding community, which could be interesting to play out. There actually isn't much in the Harry Potter canon about which 'muggle myths' are true and which are fake, so it'd be a lot of work on your part to figure out in advance what you wanted to apply. But I think it could be very interesting!
And as for the thread, any sort of magical creature could really do. In fact, if you can't think of a magical creature you could probably go with an ordinary pack of wolves, or ones warped by magic/hit by a bad spell or something?

Shinra: cool And i would expect it's a similar situation to a werewolf's really- I think i'd just apply any 'rules' that came up in Tsubasa (...which isnt a great deal, thinking about it >_> ) but if theres a major thing (ie. sunlight) then im sure could find a charm that prevents him burning and all that. ^_^ I'll have a think about it, thanks ^_^ also, yeah, i was going to suggest real wolves (<3 wolfies)

Yeah, the rules from Tsubasa should be fine. The...blood partner (it's been forever since I've read Tsubasa, but whatever Kurogane was XD) probably won't exist though, just because that's very Clamp and doesn't quite fit the feel of the Harry Potter verse?

awww...but then he'd be far more dangerous....,unless there was a spell (theres one for everything apart from death =p) or kurogane simply agreed to be fai's meal n keep him in check so he doesnt go nuts n bite randoms.

Ah, sorry XD Like I said, it's been forever since I read it, and I was under the impression that vampires in that universe required that partner to stay alive, with no alternatives XD if it was just someone agreeing to give him their blood, then that'd be fine.

lol, its ok. And nah, in TRC the vamps are normal vampires and likely to just feed from everyone and be a danger, so Yuuko had kuro mix his blood with the vampires blood to make sure Fai could only feed from him.

Okay! Yeah, that would be okay if Fai could convince someone to do that for him.

Hey- have we decided what is howling in the forest yet? It's about to make an appearance to one of the groups and I have no idea what it's supposed to be.

it could be different somethings, if it's not what Watanuki-mun wanted it to be. But as Watanuki-mun posted here, asking what it should be, i think you could just go with whatever you feel suits best and it wouldn't be wrong (Or you could wait for Wata' to reply, it's another valid option ^_^ )
