Shion rose, glaring heatedly at the girl. "Your blatant disrespect has earned twelve points from Slytherin! Now sit down and shut up before I make you!!" She hated loud, arrogant people. That's what set her off so long ago, the arrogance her family had in Satoshi's- She shoved the thought away before she became too angry. She sat down once again, slightly embarrassed at her outburst.

Great. A PREFECT. That was just what she needed. "Fine, Miss Perfect((Occ: spelled that wrong on purpose)). I'll sit. For YOU." She replied snottily. She bowed gracefully to her. Isabela then ran and jumped into her seat, leaning back and putting her feet on the table. She closed her eyes peacefully.

Twelve whole points from his House! Ridiculous. He would find a way to get back at this girl for her arrogance. One had to do a lot of set Shion off; she was normally a relatively well-mannered person.

With a half-smirk-grin, she kept her eyes narrowed on the Slytherin girl. "Why thank you, my dear~" she purred sarcastically, "I do so appreciate it!"

Having sat back down for a while already, Anri watched the events worriedly. Both Shion and the new girl had taken up the ancient art of sarcasm... and they were clearly at odds. Well, on the bright side, this was much more entertaining than the daytime television she had watched back in Japan. All they needed was a shocking love-related revelation and they'd be set.

Isabela gave the girl her BEST sarcastic smile. "Oh, it's my pleasure dearest. Isabela Rivaini, at your service, PERFECT."

Shion giggled and shivered in feigned joy. "Your compliments make me weak, Isabela! Shion Sonozaki, I'm sure you won't forget a perfect person's name, now will you?" She crossed her legs beneath the table, and leaned back in her chair, feeling quite content. She always loved a good sarcasm battle.

"Oh, I'm sorry Shion, have I managed to IMPRESS you? I really must raise my expectations."

"Please be quiet," Gumball asked the girl mildly, trying to be the voice of reason in the argument. "I have a lot of reading to get done, and I'm sure I'm not the only one." He hefted his three inch-thick textbook as proof.

"You really must." She then turned her head to ignore the girl, and leaned on Anri.

Isabela paused. She wasn't about to mean to someone who wasn't mean to her first. Especially a guy. She sighed heavily. "Fine. For you." She REALLY wanted to respond to what Shion had said, she sighed again and situated herself inside her chair. She grabbed a novel, A Pirate's Pleasure, out of her bag, and began reading. The cover illustrated it as one of those riske, cookie-cutter romance novels, this time showcasing a red-headed woman and a man with dark hair locked in a steamy kiss on the bow of a ship.

Doyle sighed. The situation had quickly gotten out of hand before he could even blink. While he was grateful for Shion's help, it really should have been left for him to settle. "Both of you, return to your studies at once," he said, giving each a glare. Shion might have settled the other girl, but now both of them were clearly at odds and neither wanted to end the fight. He returned to his desk, completely forgetting about Rainbow-Dash during the upset.

"Thank you," he replied, smiling at her before going back to his studies. He did catch a glimpse of the book she was reading, and while it certainly wasn't school-related (...at least he hoped it wasn't) it was something quiet. If she wasn't bothering him and the other students, he was alright with it. But there was one more thing that needed to be said. Without looking up from his book, he added cheerfully, "And please don't pick on Shion; as a prefect she needs to be shown respect." Prefects looked out for fellow prefects, right?

Isabela sighed. She would't quite AGREE to what he'd said, but she would give him this: "I'll be nice if she'll be nice."

"Thank you," he repeated, "that would be very kind of you." Satisfied, he turned another page in his textbook, immersing himself in the information.
