Appearance:
She has long, Platinum-blonde hair and sparkling baby blue eyes. She is almost always seen wearing a faded turquoise evening gown with a star-shaped broach in the middle of her chest. She also wears a silver tiara that her father gave her and star earrings given to her by her mother.
Personality: Rosalina is a very kind, maternal person, she is always willing to give advice and help out those in need. She will often risk her life to save others from harm. She is very understanding and can calm almost any person in a bad mood.
Rosalina is often very fond of telling stories, although she knows that the best moments of life can sometimes be in those still quiet moments. She is a very proper person though, always acting like a princess, but without the conceitedness. She is proper in everything she does and tries to make things as perfect as possible.
Canon history: In Super Mario Galaxy, Peach is yet again captured by Bowser, and Mario has to go save her. Rosalina and her Lumas helps Mario get to “his special one” by lending him several powers (ie: the ability to fly and to sling to different places) and her Comet Observatory, which could fly to the center of the universe.

AU history: Rosalina was born into a “pureblood” family, although they would never brag about it; so she always knew that she would be a wizard. When she was just a child, she would levitate things to her father. She discovered her father’s telescope when she was about 5 and fell in love. Since then she has gone outside on a special hill every night just to look at the stars.
When she was very young, she found a small child on the street who had lost his mother. Rosalina vowed to help the child search for his mother; she knew how it felt to lose a mother since hers had passed away just recently. They searched for months for the child’s mother, without any luck. Little by little, she accumulated more and more kids. She decided to start a foster home for the children so that they could find their parents.
That same year, Rosalina was accepted into Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry. She was placed in the Ravenclaw class and had the best seven years of learning and knowledge she has ever had. When she returned back home, she decided to take care of the foster children for a while. When she was sure that the children were in good hands with her staff, she decided to return to Hogwarts to become an astronomy teacher, excited to be a part of the school.
House: When Rosalina was a student at Hogwarts, she was a Ravenclaw. She would always be found in the library, reading a book, or studying somewhere. She was also very independent and never talked to many people because she was so intent on her studies.
Magical Strengths and Weaknesses: Her favorite Subject is obviously Astronomy, but she is brilliant in almost any class (hence her being a former Ravenclaw). Her large weakness is in History of Magic.
Wand: Cypres wand with a Merfolk hair core. She has a decorative star-shaped piece at the tip of her wand.
Other: Her Boggart is seeing all the stars suddenly disappear from the sky, never to be seen again.

Rosalina’s heels clicked along the floor of the hallway; she was excited about her first day as being a teacher. “Hmm…” she sighed happily, reminiscing about the days when she was a student. She remembered the smell of the Grand Hall’s glorious banquet; she remembered how scared she had been when they put that old hat on her head. She smiled and pulled up the front of her dress as she ascended the staircase to the Astronomy room, her gown flowing gracefully behind her.
When she reached the top of the tower, she opened the door to her room. All her memories in this room from her student days rushed back to her. She was grinning widely now, “Oh, I can’t wait for the first day of class!” She said stretching out her arms, “My students are going to learn all about the constellations, and see how beautiful the galaxies are!” she took out her wand from the sleeve of her dress and got into a ready stance. “All I need to do is make this room a little more homely…”
