Sir-Pounce-A-Lot sat in the sun, basking in rays. He had been running around all day, and was now happily filled on sardines and Mimiko's custom Kitty Kookies. He swished his tail and glanced around. No students. Peace and quiet.

Delia strolled through the castle, her black form blending into the shadows. Her master had been busy all day, so she had taken the time to explore. Spotting Sir-Pounce-A-Lot laying in the sun, a great idea passed through her mind. Crouching down, she kneaded the ground with her paws, still hiding in the shadows. Then, taking a great leap, she pounced. "Mreoow!" Ninja!

Sir-Pounce-A-Lot jolted, bouncing Delia slightly in the air before she landed back on his back. "Moaaaw...." Sigh...Really? Was that necessary? He sat up, sliding her slowly off of his back. He turned around and sat, staring at her and swishing his tail.

"Mew" Yes, yes it was. She slid down his back as he sat up. But was quickly distracted by Pouncy's moving tail. Jumping around to his side, she started to bat at it, trying to catch it between her paws.

Sir-Pounce-A-Lot sighed again. But he remembered when he had been a kitten. He'd spent hours chasing after sad little mouse toys, all at Mimiko's whim. "Meow." You are really entertained by this, aren't you?

"Mew" Yes, yes I am. She continued to play with the tail, until her claws accidently slipped out and caught at Pouncy's tail. She jumped back, lowering her head, afraid he would swat at her and be mad. "Mraaaow meow meooow" Sorry! I didn't mean to!"

Pouncy winced, but he didn't react. She was a kitten after all. "Meow. Meow, mew." It's okay. Just lost a little blood, but it's not like I need that to live or anything.

Anders scurried along the floor, keeping a close eye on windowsills. Cats liked to hide in such things. Oh I really wish she wouldn't forget me... He complained to himself as he snuffled along. His master, Isabela, had left him in a classroom. Again. She simply forgot to pick him up. A lot of the time. He sighed, and continued, not noticing the two playing cats on the windowsill directly above him.

Before she had time to reply to Pouncy's obvious sarcasm, a peculiar scent drifted towards Delia. She sniffed the air, identifying it as rat- headed straight for them. Leaning over the sill, she looked down the hall and spotted the white creature making its way towards her. Kneading her paws on the stone, she leapt once more into the air, this time onto a poor unsuspecting rat!

Delia had the mouse/rat/whatever it was pinned under her paws when it began to talk. She considered its request for a moment. "Mreaoooow!" Well, I can't eat you then; I'd get in trouble. She thought for a moment, then added "Meow mew meoaw." I'll let you go if you promise to play with me! Fatcat up there is so boring!

"MEoooow?" Pouncy gasped, indignant. Me? BORING? Oh, I'll show you boring little kitty! And with that he jumped off the table and tackled the smaller cat, but only lightly. With his weight, he could crush her.

Just as the rat was promising to play with her, a giant weight jumped down on top of her, almost squishing her. "REEEEEAOW!" she yelped. What are you doing?! Get off me, you fatcat! She pushed against his belly, trying to squeeze herself out from under him.
