Appearance: Isabela is exceptionally beautiful. She's a bit taller than most girls and skinny, but "big" in all the right places, if you know what I mean. She has deep brown-practically black- hair, and soft golden eyes, set against naturally tan skin. She normally wears a deep blue bandanna around her head, to keep back her thick hair. She wears the same pairs of golden earrings everyday, and it's rumored she never takes them off.

Personality: Isabela is very open with her sexuality, and isn't afraid to show it or even sometimes boast about it. She was around guys most of her life, men that were warned by her father that she was off-limits. Now that she realizes she is 'attractive', she has made it her personal mission to rule the school with feminism, with her at the head of the pack.
She's also a very free spirit, a symptom of her upbringing, and she tends to make up her own rules as she goes along. She doesn't trust others very easily, but will warily accept help when it is offered. She can't stand the abuse of women more innocent than she, and becomes kind of a "mother hen" to those who still hold onto the "innocence of youth"
Canon history: Isabela is a widow, though she doesn't seem to care much about her dead husband: she dated the assassin that killed him. She is a pirate ship's captain, which in Dragon Age II has crashed and marooned her until her vessel is prepared. She's turned to thieving and other shady dealings to help pay for not only her ship but also her days as a pirate. Mostly, these missions serve to just get her in more trouble, a which point she will grudgingly accept help.

AU history: Isabela came from a well-off muggle family. She never had a mother figure; her mother in question died when she was born. And so Isabela was raised by her father, who was a pirate of the high seas, making Isabela spend the majority of her life out at sea. She learned to do all of the different jobs across the boat, which were normally set for younger boys. Things like rope-tying, deck-swabbing, and even how to steer her father's boat itself. However, with this training came a sense of distrust, because her father's crew never truly accepted her. It was "bad luck to have a women aboard, even a young one".
When Isabela got her letter from Hogwarts, she'd been far out to sea. Her father had made a special trip all the way to England to make sure she made it to school, because he was just as intrigued about the possibility of magic as she was. Through the years Isabela has become one of the most important members of the crew because she has opened up a whole new channel of trade: the magical world. Also, she is one of the smartest due to her studies.
Isabela's boggart is anything being wrong with her father's ship, whether it is sinking or being taken or anything else.
House: Isabela would most likely be a Slytherin. She is a sly, conniving person who will go to almost any lengths to save her own skin. She's not very loyal, due to her natural aversion of people, and she is horrible with her studies(not because she's not smart, but because she thinks they are boring) and at finding anything.
Magical Strengths and Weaknesses: Isabela is great at astronomy, because of using star charts for so many years to help her father drive their ship. She is also good at Charms, because she hopes to one day use the things she learns to make ship upkeep easier. She's not good at Muggle Studies, however, because land-lovers bore her.
Wand: Isabela's wnad is a slightly crooked Poplar wand, only seven and one quarter inches, with a salamander bonce core.
Other: Isabela has a white, albino rat named Anders.

Isabela stood at the top of the tower, feeling the wind rip through her hair. She basked in the glow of the sun, and felt a wide smile cross her face. This was the life. Only up here, on the very top of the castle, could she get the same experience that she did on the deck of the boat. Suddenly, she saw a student streak by. In the sky! Her eyes followed him, and she saw that he was riding a broomstick.
That would be amazing! It’d be just like a stormy day at sea. She thought. Her rat, Anders, climbed up to her shoulder and she tickled under his chin. “We’re going to get us one of those Ande.”
