Age and year: 14 years old; Fourth year
Appearance: Violet has blue-ish black hair, dark violet-blue eyes, and is tall and very skinny. She usually wears her long hair so that one eye is completely covered, and the other is covered a little bit. She tends to slouch when sitting, and a little bit when standing. When she is using magic, she will put her hair behind her ears so that she can see better.
Personality: Violet is very shy and timid, and wants to blend in with everyone else (as in muggles). She finds this hard to do however, since she has magic. Her parents hope that by sending her to Hogwarts, she will be more comfortable with herself and her magic. While she may seem weak, she is brave, and she is actually very strong in magic, and will use it when her friends and family are in danger. When lives are threatened, she can stand up for herself and fight for what is right. In her personal life, many people see her as dark and moody, but she likes listening to music and reading fashion magazines like most teenage girls.
Canon history: Violet is the daughter of retired superheroes, Mr. Incredible and Elastigirl. She is dragged into a mission to help save her town and family from an evil mastermind named Syndrome. Her powers include becoming invisible and creating force fields, and she and her brother often team up to fight the bad guys.

AU history: Violet comes from a family of witches and wizards, and lives in a wizarding town in England, but before Hogwarts, she went to a muggle public school nearby. She had always wanted to be normal like the children from her school, instead of weird and crazy like her family, but when she started turning invisible randomly, or made things float, she knew she was just like the rest of them. She tried her best to make sure she wasn’t noticed in school, avoided making many friends, and basically became invisible to those around her. Only her parents and two little brothers really bothered to notice her anymore. When she received her Hogwarts letter, she was not surprised, and trudged off to the new school.
Since then, she has learned to open up just a little bit, and has made several friends. She has learned to like her magic, although sometimes she finds herself still wishing she didn’t have them. Also, because she remains a shy and generally quiet person, it takes a while for people to realize that she is near them.
Her boggart is silence, because she doesn’t want to be left truly alone.
House: I believe that Gryffindor is a good House for her. It is full of people that would be able to drag her kicking and screaming out of her shell. She is also very brave when the time calls for it.
Magical Strengths and Weaknesses: She is good at classes that don’t directly involve spells; such as Care of Magical Creatures, Herbology, Astronomy, and Potions. She enjoys flying as well. She is not so great at DADA and Charms.
Wand: A whippy alderwood wand. In length, it is ten and one-quarter inches long. The core consists of hippogriff tail hair.

Violet walked into class and placed her books on the desk in front of her. Peering up at her classmates, she listened to them talk before the start of class. When the professor walked in, everyone settled down and Violet opened her notebook to take notes in. It was a muggle thing she still had yet to drop. The professor wrote a question down on the board, and when it became clear no one else knew the answer, Violet timidly raised her hand. When the teacher did not call on her, she stood up and said, “The hippocampus’ classification is XXX.” Several students around her were startled to notice she had been sitting among them since the beginning of the class. As soon as the teacher nodded that it was correct, Violet sat down, messing with the hair over her left eye.
