Dance Shopping

[Shion Sonozaki]

Shion shrugged lightly. "Yeah, I suppose you're right. I guess we could just chaperone the kids.. close up." She smirked with a laugh, and patted Anri's back softly. "Okay, so, since we're switching, do we still wanna wear costumes?" Her eyes moved to her friend.

[Fionna White]

Blushing softly, Fionna smiled at the two other girls, and stepped out of the room to show off the dress in full. "Thanks, guys..." She looked down, and tucked some hair behind her ear. "Nah, I'm a fighter! My hair will only get in the way." She grinned at Isabela, but then, her eyes fell on the things in Violet's hands. "Ah, I have to have accessories, right?" With a sort-of hesitance, she took the tiara and gloves, adorning them quickly. "How about now? Still good?" she twirled for added effect. "Do you think G- ack!!" she began to cough violently, after cutting herself off so rapidly.

[Violet Parr]

Violet looked at the finished effect and smiled at herself for a job well done. Fionna really did look good in a dress, even if she didn't like wearing them. When she went into a coughing fit in the middle of saying something, Violet tilted her head slightly, concern in her eyes. "A-are you ok? Is the dress too small?"

[Anri Sonohara]

Nodding, Anri spoke, "We'll be choosing costumes for each other if we're switching, so just select something you think I could wear, and I'll do the same for you." In short, they would be selecting costumes with the other person's appearance in mind.

[Fionna White]

Fionna shook her head, her cheeks hot from coughing. "Ah, no," cough, "I just got something caught, that's all." She coughed a little more, smaller ones, and smiled at Violet. She tugged on the gloves a little bit, trying to keep them as far up her arms as she can. "I think it's nice... Totally not me. Thanks a lot, V." She held her hand up for a high five.

[Isabela Rivaini]

Isabela smirked. "Gumball would like it. It's quite his still Fionna."

[Violet Parr]

Violet stared at the hand for a second, before high-fiving awkwardly back. That was probably the first high five she had ever given... She turned to Isabela. "Wait, what does Gumball have to do with this?"

[Fionna White]

Fionna’s face lit up to a heated red, and she squeaked, eyes wide. “Ah- G-Gumball?!” She shook her head rapidly, waving her hands. “Who’s talkin’ about him? He’s just my friend, this is just my own thing!” She was failing her own self miserably, her embarrassment written all over her face and in her body language. She rushed back into the fitting room and locked the door. “We need to find Violet a costume now!” She called out, desperately hoping that they would forget her blunder. Gumball was her friend, no more, no less. This costume thing was for her. Her. That’s right.

[Violet Parr]

Violet looked back and forth between Isabela and the closed door that Fionna had disappeared into. Finally, it seemed to click, and her face turned beet red. "O-oooh!" she couldn't help but murmur, then she decided that she should save her friend from further embarrassment by Isabela. She quickly grabbed Fionna's change of topic and rolled with it. "R-right. But, I don't have a clue what I'm looking for!"

[Isabela Rivaini]

Isabela laughed. She loved it when the girls around her didn't embrace their feminism and the power it had over men in general. Gumball only needed a tip in the right direction, and he would be completely smitten with her. Isabela would've have chosen something similar to the dress Fionna now had, but in a different color. Maybe red. Red still eld the subconious thought of sexuality, even though it wasn't blatantly obvious.

"Something for you, Vi? It depends. Something to impress, or something to fade?"

[Fionna White]

Fionna heaved a sigh of relief as they talked about Violet's costume troubles. After changing into her normal outfit, she held the things she intended to purchase in her arms. She stepped out of the room, being greeted by Cake's meowing. "I think you'd make a good superhero of some sort, V." She looked the smaller girl up and down with a raised brow. "You just have that kind of stature."

[Shion Sonozaki]

Shion nodded with a smile. "Great idea!" With that, Shion began to look for something she thought would be Anri's style. Something... not plain, but not revealing. Maybe a party dress? Shion wasn't too sure. She'd just have to find something, and show it to Anri to get approval.

[Violet Parr]

"Oh, um, well, I'd like to stand out somewhat, I guess. At least more than I usually don't." She thought for a moment. So far, it didn't seem like she was going with anyone in particular, so if she wanted to attract enough attention to at least dance with one person that night, she'd need help to stand out. "A superhero? Me?" Violet rubbed an arm self-conciously. Maybe it could work.

[Isabela Rivaini]

Isabela nodded. "I can see a superhero. You'd be incognito, technically, but awesome." She paused. "I see purple. Maybe a light red."

[Fionna White]

Fionna nodded in agreement with Isabela. "Red would really be a good color, I think... I don't know too much." She smiled and tugged on the strand of hair that hung out of her hat. "But what kind of superhero?"
