Dance Shopping

[Violet Parr]

Violet smiled, glad that her professor was thrilled with her choice of dress. She took one of the pairs of shoes from Isabela and looked it over, before nodding her head, pleased with her friend's choice. "Yes, this will go well with the dress." And then Fionna ran over with a mask. It was red, which was very good because it would bring out the trim, and the feathers were a nice addition that didn't stand out as tacky. But there was still something missing. "I think this would be better with a few orchid sequins in the corners, just above the eyes. I should have some in my trunk, if Professor Katsuragi would let me borrow it for a few hours to fix it."

[Mimiko Katsuragi]

Mimiko stepped out of the changing rooms in her dress. She was used to showing her curves; a closet of white collared shirts and pencil skirts will do that to someone. But she was so used to it, she'd been surprised to realize her dress actually accentuated them. She grinned girlishly.

Walking up to the girls, she did a graceful curtsey. "What do you think?"

[Fionna White]

Fionna nodded to Violet and handed the mask over, her grin never wavering. "That sounds awesome!!" She looked towards the professor, her mouth open to say something, but instead she gasped. "Oh, wow!!! You look amazing professor Katsuragi!!"

Suddenly, Cake appeared! The cat pounced onto Fionna's shoulder, and looked Mimiko over for a moment. Her face seemed quizzical at first, as if she wasn't too sure if she liked it. But then, she nodded, meowing in approval. Fionna rubbed the cat's head. "Looks good, right?" Cake purred in response.

[Isabela Rivaini]

"Of course it looks good!" Isabela smiled. "We're girls. We know what's best." She paused, suddenly worried. Anders had disappeared, and a quick series of pats told her he wasn't in any of her pockets.

Suddenly Anders appeared, dragging a piece of black, velvety fabric. Isabela didn't know where he'd gotten it from, or if he had chewed it off of something, but she tied it around his neck like a cape and held him up.

"Look guys! Anders wants to go too!"

[Fionna White]

Fionna laughed at the little rat's cape, and gently patted his head with the tip of her finger. "He's so cute!!"

Cake eyed the furry creature, still purring, her fluffy tail slowly swishing back and forth. She pawed at him, and Fionna looked at her in confusion. "What?" she glanced at the rat, "Anders?" She removed Cake from her shoulder, and held her up to the rat. She knew Cake wouldn't attack. Cake touched her nose to Anders, looking into his eyes. "Meroww~" Well hey there, hunny.

"It looks amazing on you, Professor!" Violet added in. She handed her the shoes, hoping one of them was in her size, as well as the mask. "I-I was wondering, that is, if it's not too much trouble, if I could add a few sequins to the mask before the dance. It wouldn't take long, and they would help the mask better compliment the dress."

[Mimiko Katsuragi]

"Of course!" Mimiko smiled. "I'd be honored." She went back into the changing rooms, and came out with the dress over her arm.

[Isabela Rivaini]

Isabela thought it was kind of cute that Cake was so interested in Anders. She didn't really seem to pose a threat. "Ek." Anders squeaked at her. Hello, Ms. Cake.

[Fionna White]

Cake snorted. What's with the miss, babeh? You don't have ta go all proper for lil' ole Cake, now. She grinned, which, honestly, could have looked like she was baring her teeth. Fionna knew better, but petted her just in case. "We need to find you a dog costume now, don't we?"

[Isabela Rivaini]

"Ek." It's always nice to be polite around ladies, but that's rather an English tradition. Where are you from? I could try that culture.

Isabela smiled down at Anders, placing him on her shoulder. "Looks like he wants to help Cake find a costume too! Can I come?"

[Fionna White]

"Well, duh!!" Fionna laughed, shaking Cake lightly. The cat flashed a mean look to her owner. I'm from the south, hunny. Don't ask me specifics, though, I've been kinda passed aroun'. I don't rightly know where exactly I'm from. She meowed at Fionna, who in turn began to walk off to look for a costume. Cake squirmed. Mighty rude of me ta leave our conversation, but I'll be back soon! She waved her tail at Anders as she and Fionna disappeared behind a rack.

[Fenris Candor]

Fenris had been hiding in the much smaller men's department of the store. Technically this trip was for the GIRLS to get costumes, but how else were the boys supposed to get theirs? They didn't have a scheduled trip. And so he'd decided to follow the groups of girls of his own accord, and was pleased to see that at least the Potions Professor had decided to follow as well.

He wanted to impress Amitola, but he had no IDEA what she would even wear. Also, Fionna was getting rather close to where he was searching, and he didn't quite want her to notice him.

[Isabela Rivaini]

Isabela had tried to follow Fionna, but had seen Fenris instead. Utterly intrigued as to why he was shopping there -but expecting the reason to be something to do with Amitola-, she elbowed Fionna and pointed at him.

[Fionna White]

"Hm?" Fionna looked at her dark-haired friend, and noticed her pointing. Her gaze following her finger, Fionna also spotted Fenris, but she really didn't know him, and didn't know what to make of seeing him. "Okay...?" Her brows furrowed as she looked at Isabela.

[Isabela Rivaini]

"I just find it interesting that Fenris is here, of all men." She paused, wondering if she should humiliate him further. "Have you met Amitola Rainbow-Dash? She's a Gryffindor too, and he's totally in love with her."
