"Hm, lucky..." she murmured to herself. Shion liked other people's grandparents, sure. But she only knew her grandmother, and she was no pleasant person. Shion's eyes looked to Isabela.

Isabela felt that there was a lot to Shion that simply just wasn't said. She seemed to be that type of a girl: slender and beautiful, but as mysterious as a shore obscured by fog. No wonder all the boys wanted to ask her out. She was just the type to attract their attention.
Isabela was the opposite. She'd spill her story to just about anyone who would listen. Basically, she was an open book. They're personalities attracted two different types of men, but Isabela had a deep respect for Shion's type. The girl could hold onto her secrets until the end of time, and she sure probably wasn't going to open up to Isabela any time soon.

And she wouldn't. She just opened up to Masaomi and Anri a few days prior, and those two were the only people whom she'd ever told anything too. Then again, they didn't even hear the whole story, just the gist. She still felt a bit uneasy about telling them... They were her most trusted friends, sure, but if something between them went awry, could she still trust them?
Shion shook the thought away, repressing her distrusting self.

Isabela shrugged off the forboding feeling she always wore around Shion. It was almost as if the girl could snap at any moment. Then again, Isabela was liable to snap herself. Like with Edge earlier...
"So, that punch to Edge earlier... Do you think he deserved it?"

Shion snickered, shaking her head. "Well, not that hard. Poor guy was practically in tears..." She looked away from her frenemy. "He can be so charming and strong, but such a wimp, too, it seems."

Isabela shrugged. "I honestly didn't think I was that strong. Maybe it's because I'm always fighting pirates..." She paused, gazing at the girl. "Honestly, most men are. Women are hard-pressed these days to find a man that's not a wimp in front of SOMETHING."

"I've never gone to a dance with anyone before." She ran a hand through her long hair, sighing with a soft blush. "But I might have to not do the body switching with Anri... I don't want Edge to be confused." She turned herself to face Isabela. "So, how do you plan to get Marshall to ask you? If you need help, you could probably ask Fionna. They're close."

She blused a bit and looked away. "I'm hoping he'll just ask me, randomly, but if he doesn't... I'll have to find a way to ask him myself. No one said girls can't ask boys to dances." The truth was, Isabela had never been to a dance either, and she certainly didn't want to be dateless for her first one.
Also, she really, truly fancied Marshall.

Shion grinned. "Well, if I know Marshall as good as I think, I doubt he'll ask you at random. I think he'll probably have to think about it first." She leaned back in her chair. Mion jumped down onto her shoulder, nuzzling her cheek. Shion began to pet the hawk. "But, then again, I don't know him too well."

"Oh, yeah, I'm going with Edge." she kept her eyes on the window, "But like I said, I might have to tell Anri that I don't want to body switch. I don't want Edge to go with Anri in my body."

Isabela laughed. "That WOULD be interesting though, seeing you act like Anri." She giggled a bit at the prospect. The girls were pretty similar in some situations, but quite different in others.
