Fenris walked in, spotting Violet almst immediately and honing in on her, tending to avoid everyone else as he normally did. He stood beside her, picking up a cookie from the nearby table and giving her a sideways smile. His costume consisted of a set of fake wolf ears and a tail -since he sill hadn't gotten the clear to start that experiment with Shinra-, a ripped-up T-shirt and shorts, and a set of pointy teeth. He was attempting to channel a werewolf, or at least a very human-looking one.
"So dull..." He sighed. The sadder thing was that he knew HOW to dance, and had been hoping to show off to Amitola at least ONE thing that he knew how to do. However, he wasn't sure if she would even show up. He sighed again, and turned to Violet. He didn't want to be a COMPLETE loser. Especially in front of the other Slytherin guys. "Would you care to dance, Violet?" He asked, in a very brotherly way.

Violet turned to Fenris and smiled. "Oh! Um, sure Fenris." She quickly finished the cookie she had been eating. A part of her wanted to ask about Amitola, but she knew that would probably be rude of her. So instead she said, "The costume looks good on you. You know, the whole 'werewolf' thing, what with you and the wolves." Wow, Violet, nice going with the words there.

Fenris felt himsefl blushing, but he didn't know why. Violet had NEVER made him blush before. "And you look beautiful in yours. I like the superhero look. I makes you stand out." He offered her his hand, taking a step in the direction of the dance floor.

Violet blushed under the mask, moving a strand of hair back in place behind her ear. She took Fenris' hand and followed after him onto the dance floor, glancing down at the floor as she went. "I'm not really that good," Violet said as an afterthought. Although truthfully she was, she just didn't admit this fact to herself.

Fenris gave a chuckle, smiling at her. "Then just follow my lead. At least dancing is somethin I can do." He swept her into a waltz position, his hand on her waist and the other hand intertwined with hers. He began slowly stepping to the music, bringing her along with him into the steps.

Blinking, 'Shion' pondered at the dark haired boy in front of her in confusion. He looked awfully familiar... oh well, Shion would probably just play along regardless. Giving a slight curtsy, 'Shion' glanced at the mysterious figure from beneath her eyelashes. "You flatter me. You yourself make a rather dashing figure, my lord." Come to think of it, he greatly resembled... could it be? Straightening, 'Shion' queried, "Masaomi-kun?"

Violet simply followed Fenris' lead, the hand not intertwined with his placed on his shoulder. She let the music envelop her and she didn't even have to think that hard to remember the steps to a waltz. She smiled shyly at Fenris as he led her in the dance around the room.

Fenris, for once, felt like a normal student. Like a normal guy. Strange that he felt this way with a woman that was NOT his supposed beloved Amitola, and while wearing a costume. But here, in this moment, whisking Violet around the dance floor, he felt normal.
He smiled at her, and whispered, "You're an amazing dancer."

Fionna grinned at Isabela, and slipped her arm away from Marshall. "Hey!! Thanks," she blushed, twirling her hair around her finger, "it wouldn't have happened if it weren't for you and the others. I really appreciate it." She looked Isabela up and down, and whistled. "And you look super-amazingly-awesome yourself, dude. Really nice match, eh, Marshall?" She nudged her Slytherin friend with a mischievous smirk.

As 'Anri' danced with Edge, she happened to glance back over to 'Shion', only to see a dark-haired boy with her. She was happy for 'Shion', finding someone to hang out with, but then she realized... It was Masaomi. Biting her lip, she smiled at Edge, a bit forcibly, her eyes flicking back over towards the two every few moments. If Masaomi flirted with her body, and 'Shion' flirted back, what would that make 'Anri'?

Isabela gave Fionna a happy smile. "Thanks." She murmured under her breath. Then she caught something out of the corner of her eye. Was that... Fenris and VIOLET dancing together? When did THAT happen? She turned to Fionna, pointing. "Is that Fenris and Violet dancing together? They're so cute!"

Violet blushed at the compliment, glad that her mask hid her cheekbones. "Thanks. You too." It was strange, but with Fenris, she felt like it was okay that she wasn't normal. "Are you enjoying the dance so far?"

Fenris returned her blush. He wasn't sure what she meant by her comment. So far, until dancing with her, no, he hadn't. "Not until now, no I hadn't." He gave her a charrming smile, and dipped her to the floor, his face inches from hers. Suddenly, being this close to her, his face grew beat red and he blinked at her, almost frozen.

She looked to where Isabela was pointing, and her eyes widened a bit. "Yeah, it is! I didn't know they were into each other..." She furrowed her brows in confusion. "Or that he could dance, for that matter..."
