Violet looked at Fenris and smiled. "I thought of you too." Her shield got a bit brighter at Fenris' words.

During the period of time that the dementors arrived, Edge had been in the restroom washing his face. He knew something wasn't right once he stepped towards the hall and felt a sudden wave of sadness and despair. In that instant, Edge broke out in a run towards the Great Hall and- "Dementors." He cursed silently under his breath. He whipped out his wand, focusing on the warmest memory he could remember. "EXPECTO PATRONUM!" He roared as an unusual bird that appeared to be a fusion of an ostrich and chicken shot out of his wand, instantly drop-kicking any dementors that were close enough to it.
Edge hiself let his eyes shoot across the Hall. There were quite a few issues already, but what bothered him most was Masaomi, frozen like a statue. Edge sighed. He knew that this'd probably hurt both of them. He dashed across the floor like a bullet, leaping into the air. "MASAOOMIIII!" His hand balled up into a fist as he fell towards the boy. "LET'S SEE YOU GRIIIT THOSE TEEEEEEEEETH!" His fist collided with the younger boy's skull, knocking him back off his feet.

Yellow was suddenly surrounded by the cold again. Mimiko had moved over to Violet and Fenris for some reason and had left the two first years unprotected. And now that the dementors had closed in she was beginning to remember things that she had forgotten. Things that she never wanted to remember. She saw flashes of her parents' death. They were murdered but she couldn't quite tell what was happening...she saw flashes of blood and then another flash of her mother's body and then her father's body.
((I'm not sure....but this is how I understood the mod post. I'm really not trying to God-mod....but I wasn't really sure... ><))

As soon as the dementors passed and Celty's despair had finally lessened she could actually manage to remember the remedy for dementors. She had to cast her patronus!! But she had never actually managed to produce a corporeal patronus!! She thought her hardest, but she couldn't recall a happy memory...so she tried to focus on the friends she made at Hogwarts...Edge....Marshall....John...Suzuka...Fai....and her other classmates...the people who didn't look at her like she was a monster. EXPECTO PATRONUM!!!!!!!! She screamed in her head, and a blinding white shield burst from her wand, illuminating the dance floor behind her.
She instantly calmed, fully functional behind her shield. She turned to check for anyone who needed help and spotted Marshall, frozen in place with his wand raised. His face looked absolutely blank and yet at the same time distant and thoughtful. Keeping her shield aimed towards the nearest dementors, she grabbed his hand and ran out a side door. The door they left lead to the trophy room, it was the only other door to the great hall, and the dementors hadn't yet managed to block it. Celty made very sure to close the door behind them but didn't blockade it in case any other students managed to find the door. She was fairly sure they would be safe since the teachers had all conjured their patronuses.
((Just so y'all know, Marshall and I talked about that last paragraph and this is a way for her to escape this post....because it's just too much for her to follow right now DX))

There was definitely a shift now, as the Dementors inched backwards and away from the humans. The Dementor that had been heading for Isabela was cut off by Doyle's kite patronus, and was forced back to the door. Glowing shields littered the battlelines: Violet's and Fenris' and Celty's contributions to the battle. Between those safe areas, though, the icy dark figures still swarmed forward. Yellow was almost entirely surrounded by the Dementors now, and one of them was already beginning to lower their hood... (( Celty Sturluson: I'm not sure how she and Marshall managed to escape through the doors when there are Dementors streaming through them, but I totally understand needing to get your character out of the rp, so I'm gonna let it slide. Perhaps it's a side door like the one they used in the fourth book?)) ((@everyone; the Dementors do have an effect on people where they make them scared/upset so some characters are doing that XD Don't be too bothered if some people make their characters freeze up. Of course it's okay if your character is some sort of hothead who really would lash out in a situation like that~)) |

((yeaaaaahhhh....sorry about that kinda incongruity I was actually talking about the door to the trophy room....just looking back at the post I never actually made that clear. So.....that was actually my mistake. I'm going back to change that now.))
Yellow wasn't able to even have flashes of consciousness now, she was constantly absorbed in flashback. She saw her parents dying over and over again, and now she was beginning to see her friends dying aorund her and there was her pet, Chuchu, reduced to a bloody mess in her mind. As the dementor's hood came down her sould, began to become more visible as it was sucked from her body, making it seem like a pale reflection of her was being pulled away from her body and toward the dark figure.

Momentarily distracted by Edge's assault on Masaomi, 'Shion' nearly missed the sight of Yellow being targeted by the dementors. Pivoting, she dashed in the girl's direction, her patronus zipping ahead. The white kitten flared as it neared the cluster, hissing protectively from between Yellow and the closest dementor. An initially near inaudible voice cackled in the back of her mind. Kill. Kill. KILL.

Mimiko ran away from Fenris and Violet, seeing as they had their own shields up, plus Doyle's protection. As she neared Yellow, she could feel the cold taking effect, and her saddest memories memories coming forth. But, as she ran her personal sense to protect those around her kicked in, and she stood at a safe distance from the dementors. She could feel the cold creeping, but she couldn't let that poor girl's soul be sucked.
"Expecto Patronum!" She yelled, and her cat shot forth, straight into the circle around Yellow, aiming to knock back the other dementors that Anri's Patronus hadn't hit.

Yellow remained curled into a ball, trembling violently for a long time after the patronus had come back. Her mind was practically destroyed, and her skin remained cold and clammy. The only true sign that she was still alive was the rapid rising and falling of her chest.

As Edge's fist connected with Masaomi's face, Shion's inside lit on fire. Her eyes narrowed, and her patronus vanished. "EDGE!" She moved to grab the older boy, to keep him away from Masaomi, but before she could, she was struck with fear. She dropped to the ground and curled up against the wall, pulling her knees to her chest. Her mind flashed with pictures of her past: her family, friends, Satoshi. Tears began to leak down her face, and she shook, still clutching onto her wand. She tried so hard to find her happy memory again, but it was so difficult...

Edge noticed that Shion had rushed towards him after his impromptu assault. His eyes widened when he noticed that her patronus vanished and she almost instantly fell over, feeling the effects of the dementors. He motioned with his wand to bring his own Patronus over to keep the dementors away, even if for a small bit of time. "Sorry about that Shion, Masaomi. I kinda flew off the handle there." He murmured lightly, wondering if either of them actually heard him.

As Edge's patronus approached, Shion helplessly reached out to him, tears still falling. "Edge, Edge..." She attempted to stand, but nearly fell again.

Edge sighed as he reached over and helped Shion up, keeping an arm around her just in case something happened. His patronus finally reached his location, walking in circles around him and those he was trying to protect. "I'm sorry, Shion. What happened to you was my fault..." He murmured, praying that the girl was still alright.

As she stood, she closed her eyes, trying to push her past memories away from her. She didn't want them anymore. She tried again with her patronus charm, but nothing happened. She would still have to wait, and that wasn't something she had time for. She looked over at Masaomi, then back to Edge.
