Francis had picked up a little bit of bird seed before leaving the common room. He wasn’t too delayed by a few female students who sent him giggles and smiles. He quickly brushed them off by sending a handkiss towards them and rushed downstairs. He hadn’t really time to flirt with girls now, it wasn’t like they would walk away to someone else. After all there was no one more appealing than him.
He reached the exit and went straight to the owl tower. Perhaps Pierre had been flirting with a female owl and lost track of time? Though it sounded very unlikely for his beautiful dove to meddle with flithy boring owls. He decided to look anyway.
Upon arriving, his precious little bird wasn’t there. There were only brown and gray boring owls. If Pierre had been there he would have stood out with his white feathers. Francis sighed deeply and perhaps with slight annoyance and made his way back outside. The tower was so dirty, owl poo everywhere it was disgusting him, so he was glad to be back in the fresh air.
He gazed at the sky as he walked aimlessly over the school ground. “Pierre~” He called out. He was half-expecting a white dove to fly to him, but nothing came.

Belle is sitting in the shade of a tree by the lake, an open, large, leather-bound book in her lap as a gentle breeze lifts the pages and her causes her hair to sway. She looked up at a noise she did not expect to hear at Hogwarts, and it was the cooing of a dove perched high in the tree and looking a little lost. Even though birds cannot talk, Belle spoke, "Are you lost mon petit?"
The bird cooed again and ruffled its feathers and Belle smiled, "If you let me I will help you alright?" She put her book down in the dirt and lifted her hand, not sure if the bird is tamed or not. She stepped nearer the tree, her arm outstretched, "Come here mon petit, I can help you find your way."

Francis looked up in the trees. "Pierre~" he called out again. He then waited for a moment and looked up at the sky. He somewhat expected for the dove to fly towards him. When it didn't happen he started to panic a little.
What if something had happened had happend to his precious bird. He started cooeing like a dove and then called out again. "Pierre~ Where are you?" he continued to walk over the grounds looking for his bird.

The bird ruffled it's feathers again and hesitantly flew down and landed on her finger. Belle smiled sweetly, using her soothing an animal voice, "there we are, now, what to do with you..." She sat carefully, making sure the bird was not disturbed from its perch and pondered, "Where did you come from little one?"

"Pierre?" Francis kept on asking, in hope he'd answer. He was really getting worried his dove was hurt or had even ended up worse. He then spotted a girl sitting with a- that was Pierre! Francis quickly made his way over to her. "I zee you found 'im~ " he said happily when he had approached her. "mon petite pierre~" he was very happy to see his dove unharmed and safe in the tender hands of a girl.

Belle looks up, startled. Her french accent twisting her english, "Oh, who are you? Are you the owner of this beautiful bird?" She stares up at him questioningly, carefully stroking the birds feathers.

Belle smiled, "Think nothing of it Francis, it is not your fault. I tend to be oblivious to others around me when I am focused on something. My name is Belle by the way. And did you say this little one's name is Pierre?" She gestures toward the dove perched on her finger affectionately. "He and I were just becoming acquainted, He is a very well behaved bird."

Francis smiled back. "D'accord." he took her hand and pressed a kiss on it. "Nice meeting you, Belle." he spoke with a sly smile. He then looked at Pierre. "He seems to like you." he added with a chuckle.

He smiled and nodded. "He's normally not that nice to strangers." he said, even though he was lying. It was his attempt to be nice and flatter a girl. "Oui, you 'ave~ I am glad you 'ave found 'im." he smiled even more and petted Pierre.

Belle realized she still held the bird, "oh, je suis desole, would you like him back? You must have been frantic!" She raised the hand with the bird perched and offered him back to his owner, not paying attention to the flattery but a smile played at her lips.

Francis nodded quite eagerly. "Oui, s'il te plaît." he reached into his pocket and grabbed some birdseed he then brought up his hand and Pierre easily hopped on his hand and started to eat the seed quite happily. "Oui I was, but I am glad to 'ave 'im back now."
