Still laughing at their antics, Shinra quickly healed Fenris's nose with a flick of his wand and gestured that he could lean back if he wanted to. He then turned to the girl, studying the way she was trying to massage the pain out of her leg. Probably just a sprain then; if it was broken, she wouldn't be touching it. "Let me see?" He knelt in front of her so that he could get a better look at what was wrong. "What's your name, by the way?"

Amitola pushed past Dr. Kishitani, once again completely ignoring (or at least trying to) the pain in her leg. She gave a quick glance back to the Doctor, mumbling "Amitola, you should know that.." before stumbling over to Fenris. "Wait! Don't leave! Did you, er...? Um. Did you, uh...?" She took a deep breath, trying to push past the awkwardness of the question. "Did you carry me here from the lake?!" she practically shouted in his face. This, of course, was before she collapsed into him. "Stupid leg!"

Fenris caught her easily. She wasn't altogether heavy, despite the fact that she was leaning into him. "You should..." He paused. "Amitola? That's a funny name." He laughed as he placed her rather forcefully back on the bed. With his hands now free, he checked his nose. "Thank you doctor." He turned to Amitola and looked down at her. "And, yes, I did carry you all the way from the lake, as ungrateful as you were for my services. I may be a Slytherin, but I would not hex someone in a friendly race." He paused. "In fact, I probably couldn't preform a hex if I tried, so I would appreciate an apology." He crossed his arms.

Amitola frowned, crossing her arms over her chest stubbornly. "What's wrong with my name?" It was obvious that she was avoiding the apology. Apologies were so awkward. Her eyes, however, revealed that she was truly sorry for hurting this man. Even if he was a Slytherin.

Okay, Shinra understood that they were making up and inter-house friendships were great, yadayadayada. But the girl -- Amitola, she'd said-- was obviously in pain and teetering dangerously. "Okay, lovebirds," he informed them cheerfully, "I'm going to fix her leg and then we can discuss what happened."

Fenris blushed. Lovebirds? Why did he always give off this vibe? He was hardly fond of Amitola, let alone in love with her. Although, he had carried her all the way to the Hospital Wing... But that was just common courtesy... Right? No... He thought to himself. Not between a Gryffindor and Slytherin. He sighed dejectedly and sat back down in the chair he'd left beside her. "Your name is funny because it is an Indian word. They sound funny on our tongues."

Amitola stood motionless for a second. Lovebirds? "Lovebirds!? What in Diagon Alley are you talking about?! We're just...Hah! He's not...We're not... Agh!" She furrowed her brow angrily, mumbling to herself under her breath. "Pfft. As if." The name comment seemed to fly past her, now. She was too focused on the doctor's nonsense. "And my leg is totally fine!"

"Do you want me to leave it like that? You can't really stay on your broom with it the way it is." It wasn't much of a threat; he could hardly let a student walk away injured. But he was the sort of person who couldn't resist poking and prodding at people's tempers, whether it was safe or not.

Amitola scowled, wanting desperately to hate Dr. Kishitani. She dragged herself back over to the bed and slumped into it. "Fine."

"Now, where is the pain most concentrated?" He paused and asked Fenris, seeking more information, "How did she hit the tree? Head on or sideways?" It could be important in figuring out how to treat the girl.

Fenris laughed. "Seems someone is a little defensive." He turned to the doctor. "Head on, if I remember correctly. Oh, and Dr. Kishitani? Thank you for fixing my nose." He looked at Amitola. It was obvious in her defensiveness that she was interested, but Fenris simply didn't know how to respond. He was sure Kida would, but none of his charismatic personality towards women had rubbed off on him.

Amitola winced, unsure of how to respond to the doctor. She also didn't want to give away just how much it hurt. Pain was for wimps, after all. So, her reply was rather brusque. "I don't know. It hurts." She stole a glance towards Fenris, still rather confused about the whole situation. Why would he have...? Ah, it didn't really matter. Right?

"Hm..." He jabbed her shin none too gently with his wand. "It's just a sprain, I think. Nothing serious, but hard to fix with magic. I'm going to get a bandage to wrap it." and with that he stood and went to the other side of the room, rifling through cupboards and leaving the two alone to talk.

Fenris looked down at Amitola. "You're hurt more than you say." He simply made the comment. He knew she was, he could tell when she had avoided the doctor's question slightly. "You shouldn't lie to doctors, or they can't help you."

Amitola leaned forward on the bed, examining Fenris carefully. He was an odd one, but she wouldn't let him get the better of her. "I do not. It's really not that bad."
