Heaving a sigh of relief, she smiled. "Ah, that's good." Anri turned to the silently standing Shion. "Shion-senpai? Are you sure you're okay too?"

Shion mimicked the doctor, waving her hand in a similarly lazy way. "Yeah, I'm fine. I almost drowned, but the squid brought me up just in time, and then let me go." She patted Anri's head. "It was you I was worried about, Anri-chan."

Hearing Shion's words, Anri was slightly reassured. Still, the older girl had almost drowned! A hand patted her head, mussing her hair. "...it was you I was worried about..." Anri felt infinitely grateful to the kindhearted girl. If Shion hadn't been there Anri could have been left collapsed on the lake shore for who knows how long. "Thank you for saving me." That was really all that she could say.

Shion laughed a little. "I didn't save you. You cut that squid and swam. That's what saved you." She looked at the doctor. "Thanks for your help." She grinned at him.

"Ah, yes, cut the squid...me." Even if the act had saved her life, the fact that Saika had slipped through in that fateful moment was frightening. Hearing Shion thank the doctor, Anri looked in his direction. Had he even introduced himself? She couldn't remember.

"You're welcome," he replied distractedly, concentrating on writing his note to the Care of Magical Creatures professor. He cracked the window next to his desk and tapped the piece of paper with his wand. It popped neatly into a paper plane and whooshed out through the gap between window pane and glass. After watching it go, he turned to see that one of the girls was watching him from behind his glasses. Was he missing something?
Ah, manners. Yes, those. "Shinra Kishitani, at your service." He swept a mock-bow in their direction (quite the feat when sitting down) and added cheerfully, "Of course, that's Dr. Kishitani to you."

"It's nice to meet you Dr. Kishitani." Had she given her own name? She couldn't remember. "Anri Sonohara." Anri smiled and gave a slight bob of her head in return to his bow.

"It's good to meet you, Miss Anri." His smile widened as she seemed to take his bow seriously, bobbing her head in return. "And your friend with the interesting haircolor?" Pink he had slowly grown used to, with the sheer number of pink-haired students, but green? Green was new.

"Interesting? You think?" She giggled as she took a piece of hair in her hand, looking at it. "Well, I've seen worse." She released her hair and held a hand out to him. "Shion Sonozaki, sir."
