Fenris gave the smallest of smirks. "As if any of them give me the time of day. To most women, Fenris Candor does not exist." He replied in a just-as-equally funny deadpan.

"Then the solution is obvious!" Masaomi wrapped his arm around his shoulder and pointed upwards, his gaze following the path of his finger with a determined gleem in his eyes, as if he was giving a rousing speech meant to raise moral. "Let's go and hit on girls and make our names known!"

Fenris allowed Kida to pull him out of the Owlery. He believed that girls would be less likely to fall for either of them since they were "hunting in a pack" so to speak. Most female animals tended to avoid pairs of roaming bachelors. Especially, Fenris thought as he looked to the side at Kida, if one of them was exceedingly aggressive, as Kida seemed to be. Fenris mentally shook his head. He needed to stop comparing people to animals. People could act differently. Right? He certainly hoped so, for the women's sake.

And without waiting for a response or approval, Masaomi grabbed hold of Fenris' arm and dragged him down the steps of the owlery to one of the many halls of the school, forcefully acquiring himself a 'wingman'. I mean this was alright, right? The boy hadn't said no, and he looked like he could use some good ol' one-on-one human interaction. So this was totally okay. Definitely okay. ((ooc: Just a bit of advice, I notice sometimes you add actions of other characters that the players themselves hadn't stated to have doing yet. It hasn't really crossed into the region of god-modding yet, but you should leave the actions a character decides to take into the hands of the player controlling them ^^; )

((occ:Will do)) Fenris followed him, though he didn't have a real choice. Kida did have him by the arm. But this was good. His mother would say it was. He was being exposed to another house, and meeting a person that Fenris might one day be able to call friend. And talking to girls, which Fenris didn't have much experience with. He tended to treat them the same way he did men: as an annoyance. Fenris preferred being alone, and a female would be clingy. So this would be a learning experience in many ways. The question was, was Fenris ready to learn?

"ALRIGHT," Masaomi began with a fresh new feeling of energy.
"Now first things first...." He began, turning to Fenris and raising his hand in front of him, gesturing step one. "You have to act interested. With those gloomy looks of yours, Its no wonder no girl wants to talk to you. So come on, give us a smile! Show me what you can do~"

Fenris blinked. A smile? He hadn't smiled in... Was it sad he couldn't remember? If smiles bought attention, no wonder everyone ignored him. Not that he minded, most of the time. The most he could give was a sly smirk, which is what he offered Kida.

"Hrmmm..." Masaomi brought his hand to his chin and scratched at it thoughtfully as he observed the smirk Fenris had offered him.
"NOPE." He declared making an 'X' with his arms. "No good. I think someone like you would attract girls if they were able to catch a glimpse of a rare seen softer side~. Try and think of something happy and give us a good 'ol genuine smile," Masaomi finished off with a wide grin, as if trying set an example.

Fenris blinked. "I don't think you quite understand something, Kida. I... don't really have any happy memories." He shrugged and looked down at the floor.

"....." That sort of response caught Masaomi off gaurd. He wasn't sure exactly how he was supposed to respond to something like that. "Nothing? Not a one...?"

Fenris paused, thinking. "No. I've never really had a friend or fun either, so those are ruled out."

"Ah, well, hm..." Masaomi began thinking again. If he couldn't get him to smile then there would be no way he would be able to pick up girls! There was no way he would let such a tradgedy unfold. No man should go through life without a beautiful girl at his side. It was simply too heartbreaking.
Then, lightbulb.
He looked back at Fenris, with hopefully the solution to his 'not being able to smile' issue. "You like animals right?" He hoped he could at least assume that much. I mean, really why would anyone want to stay in the owlery for any length of time for any other reason??

"Yes..." Fenris was wary. He'd just met Kida, and the boy could be referencing any number of outcomes. "I do like most creatures. I am in Care of Magical Creatures for a reason."

Ah ha! Bingo~™
Masaomi grinned widely, proud of himself. "Soooo just think of whatever animal you feel most comfortable around, whatever it is that makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside~"

Fenris laughed, a goodhearted laugh that actually revealed a smile. "And that was the best joke you've said!" He smiled. "My favorite animal would never make someone feel warm and fuzzy." He couldn't help chuckling again, before leaning in with a slightly creepy sneer. "My favorite animal is the Thestral, merchant of bad luck and death."
