Mimiko smiled at her students' sudden interest. "Expecto Patronum is a difficult spell to master. You have to think of the happiest memory you have. The absolute happiest one." She smiled, recalling her memory. It WAS a good one...

Happiest memory? Shion had to think for a moment, before Satoshi came to mind. She blushed a little, with a soft smile, remembering his hand on her head. "Expecto Patronum~" she whispered, and waved her wand a little. It sparked, but did not produce an animal like Mimiko's did. Shion furrowed her brows in confusion. "But, that was my happiest memory... Right?"

((Sorry, feeling the need to interject here. The patronus charm is a very high advanced form of magic, so much so that it isn't even put on the curriculum for students at Hogwarts, and especially a class that would include first years. It's also something that would probably be covered by the defense against the dark arts class as well. I'm sorry, but could we back track a bit?))

((We could. Just most of the Charms I know are kind of first year ones, and won't keep the upper students busy for long. >.> That's where I run into spell choosing problems.))

(( harrypotter.wikia.com/wiki/Charm there's a list of charms here. You can also choose to end the class after a while as well if you find yourself getting stuck.))

Mimiko could tell everyone was slowly loosing interest. Students were so hard to please these days. She blamed T.V. And the internet. With thousands of pictures and pages of information at their fingertips, a few showy spells wasn't enough. She sighed, thinking. She began flipping through her lesson plan, to later days, trying to find something acceptable.
"Aha!" She smiled. She'd found a spell that took a while for ANYONE to learn, 99% of the time. "Multicorfors!" She shouted, pointing the spell directly at Sir-Pounce-A-Lot, who immediately turned the color of bright bubblegum.

Isabela smiled maliciously, aiming for the blond, flirtatious boy's head. "Multicorfors!" She thought of the color turquoise. A bright, bright turquoise. Whether or not it worked, of course, was another story.

Violet watched the professor perform a new charm, a color-changing charm, and then indicated that they should practice. Looking in front of her, she saw the feather they had been practicing with earlier. Pointing her wand at it, she pictured one of her favorite colors, opal, and said, "Multicorfors!" Opening her eyes, she looked at the feather which had only managed to turn a slightly brown color. She sighed.

Fenris noted that the very loud girl and Violet were working together. Relatively. If working together involved Isabela attempting to change the color of Kida's hair, and Violet making her feather a dull brown. As inexperienced at Charms as Violet seemed to be, Fenris headed over. "Hey Violet." He muttered. "Having trouble?"

Violet looked up as Fenris approached. "You noticed, huh? It was supposed to be opal-colored." She scooted over so Fenris could take a seat next to her. "How about you?"

He looked down at his feather, which he had brought from his original desk. "Well, let's see." He pointed his wand at the feather. "Multicorfors!" The feather shook, as if hit by an invisible wind, but nothing happened."

Violet chuckled as Fenris' feather didn't do much either. "We seem to be in a bit of a stand-off with our feathers."

Jim stopped halfway through his cookie. “Multicorfors?” He stared at his cookie… then he grinned. He placed his cookie down and pointed his wand at it. He had always wanted to eat something gold, and that’s what he decided to do: “Multicorfors!” The cookie turned a sparkling shade of gold. He picked it up and continued to munch on it smiling on the inside and outside.

The light whizzing sound that hit his head right after a student shouted the spell was his first clue. The second clue was the locks of blond hair in front of his face slowly fading back to their original shade of black.
"Hey now! hey now! A lot of work was put into this handsome cut!" He declared, not to frustrated, but altogether not pleased. He turned around and waved his wand at Isabella's long hair hoping to repay her.
Instead, his wand decided it would be more comical to let out a rainbow colored burst of clouds and dust in his face.

Isabela giggled at him, smiling. "Silly, silly Masaomi." She winked at him, and laughed some more. She flicked her wand again, and it changed to a heart-warming purple. "There, better?"
