Yellow looked up at Jim, smiling nervously, and slowly drifted up toward the two boys. "S-Sorry..." She held the broom fairly steady, hovering right in between her friends.

“Nice job, Yellow!” Jim encouraged her, grinning and crossing his arms. “I told you you could do it!"

"Y-Yeah..." Yellow smiled at Jim and Mac. "Thank you for helping me." She then looked back to the teacher, wondering where they would be going next.

He smiled at Yellow as she joined them. "You're welcome, but that was all you!" He turned toward the professor and waited for the next step.

((OOC: So, just realized Doyle Blackwell never introduced himself to the class. Please pretend he did and I will go back and edit that post. Thanks!))
Doyle watched the two kids help Yellow get up in the air, choosing to stay out of it and see what they could do. He was mildly surprised at the amount of teamwork and friendship they displayed, being that they were from three different Houses. Smiling at them, he continued the lesson. "Great job, you three. Now that we're all in the air and have learned how to not move, the next step is to learn how to move. While hovering requires more work of the mind, moving requires work of the body. To go forward, lean slightly forward. To turn left or right, simply lean that way as well. Going backwards is more of an advanced skill, so we will learn that later. And finally, to slow down to a stop and hover once more, pull and lean back slightly. Practice a little in the area around you, and then we'll take this class on the move!"

Jim had already experienced this thrill, so he bolted at the chance, he did a few spins around his friends and then shot up. He barrel rolled, swan dived, and then came to a halt right beside the teacher. He happily sighed from the exhilaration and tossed his bangs back. “Come on guys you can do it!” He called to his friends.

Yellow struggled a bit with moving, her broom was a bit contrary. She leaned forward and the broom shot backward, then slowly drifted upwards. "I-I think I did something wrong..." She worried quite a bit as the broom pushed her around, taking her on a merry chase around in circles high above the ground. But eventually she became a little more forceful with her movements and the broom sailed back down toward Mac and Jim while Yellow scrunched her face up in concentration.

Mac nervously let out a breath, then started his broom in motion. It followed his directions, albeit shakily, and he was soon able to join Jim and Yellow as they flew a bit more. Gaining more confidence, he loosened his grip and sped it up a little, taking it on a few mild stunts around the Training Grounds. "Awesome!" he shouted.

Doyle smiled as he watched his students. They seemed to be having lots of fun, and were getting the hang of flying fairly easily. Honestly, they were making much more progress than he had expected. During his first year, several students hadn't even managed to leave the ground by the end of the class!
Flying around the three students, he gathered their attention again. "I'm impressed with all of you; you're doing a great job! Yellow, keep doing what you're doing and I promise you'll get the hang of it eventually. Now, you boys, reel in the stunts and we'll take this class on the go!" He motioned them to follow him, and headed slowly in the direction of the Quidditch Field.

Yellow zipped off after Professor Blackwell, blushing as her broom would speed up and slow down, occasionally without her command. She switched from being right behind him to being several hundred feet in front of him then as she slowed down she would fall behind because she couldn't make the broom start moving forward again.

Jim kept an even 20 feet behind the professor to make sure he was going in the right direction and to make sure he wouldn’t crash. He grinned watching Yellow’s insane flight pattern and extended a hand out to her. “Here, I’ll help you keep an even pace!” he said gesturing for her to take his hand.

Yellow timidly took his hand, remembering the disaster that happened last time she touched him. What if he got mad again, or noticed how scared she was and didn't like her anymore?! What was she going to do??? She couldn't take her trembling hand back now....it would be rude! "Th-Thanks."

Mac slowed his broom down and followed after the professor, trailing behind Yellow and Jim. He watched them curiously for a moment before shrugging his shoulders. Not really any of my business, he told himself, but he couldn't help but feel a bit left out. Ducking his head, he watched the beautiful scenery of Hogwarts as it passed by below them.

Doyle looked back. He had planned to take the kids to the Quidditch Pitch to continue the lesson, but they seemed to be having more fun just flying around. Instead, he veered a little off path, guiding them toward and over the lake to extend their flying time just a bit more.

Jim started to blush a little bit, but shook it off. This was a gesture of friendship, right? he was just helping her out right? He couldn’t help but turn a little brighter red one he felt her small soft hand in his, but he tried hard to ignore it and to focus his mind on guiding her through the sky.
