[Fionna White]

Cake looked up at Gumball with her big, kitten eyes. With the most pathetic mew she could muster, she stretched out over the book, and rolled onto her back. Fionna laughed. "Cake, that's his book!" She picked up the cat, earning her a glare, "He needs that. Bookworms don't like it when you sleep on their stuff." She grinned mischievously at Gumball.

[Shion Sonozaki]

Mion heard Violet's compliment, and looked over at her. She then scooted onto Shion's other shoulder, cocking her head to look between Violet's hair. "I'm sure she thanks you." She smiled at Violet.

[Barnaby Gumball]

"Oh, Cake..." He gave her a fake-stern look and shook his finger at her scoldingly. "If I scratch your tummy will you get off?" When Fionna called him a bookworm he laughed and didn't protest, knowing it was absolutely true.

[Violet Parr]

Violet laughed at Mion's peculiar look and brushed back her hair so she could see her whole face. Carefully, she reached out a hand and held it out to wait for permission from the hawk to be allowed to stroke her back.

[Fionna White]

Cake wiggled her way out of Fionna's arms at Gumball's promise of a belly-scratch. She took up her previous spot on his book, and re-assumed the position, mewing at him. Fionna rolled her eyes with a smile. "Gumball, don't give her what she wants~ She'll own your soul if you do!" She wiggled her fingers at him in a creppyish manner, while pursing her lips.

[Barnaby Gumball]

"Don't you think she already does?" He scratched her belly obligingly. Cats always owned humans anyway. "Alright, now relinquish my book, please." While waiting for Cake to move off his book, he waved at the new girl, who was definitely not in his house despite a certain mod not knowing how to read. "She's soft, isn't she?" he asked, referring to the hawk.

[Fionna White]

Cake hesitantly obliged, but did not leave his side, remaining beside his book while purring. She wanted more pets from him, and she wouldn't leave til she got them.

[Shion Sonozaki]

Mion examined the girl's hand for a moment, before gently nudging it with her beak, giving her permission to pet her. She enjoyed being stroked, much like Cake did, but she wouldn't roll over and beg for it. She was more dignified than that.

[Barnaby Gumball]

"You silly feline." But he couldn't deny the cat pets, and now he was going pay for it. "Fionna, your cat is bullying me."

[Fionna White]

"Gumball, you're letting her." Fionna draped an arm over his shoulders, looking down at Cake. "Relinquish this poor man's soul, foul beast!"

Cake ignored Fionna, and began to affectionately lick at Gumball's fingertips. She then nuzzled her head against his palm, demanding more. She was indeed an attention-whore, but what cat wasn't?

[Barnaby Gumball]

"Ah! I'm trapped in her clutches, Fionna! I need you to rescue me!" He couldn't resist playing along, leaning into her and laughing as Cake licked his hand. "That tickles, Cake!"

[Fionna White]

If cats could smile, Cake would be grinning. She pawed at the boy's hand playfully. Fionna poked the feline on the forehead gently. "I said back, back I say!" She tugged on Gumball's shoulder to get him to look at her. She put on an expression of seriousness, fake of course. "Quickly, to the bomb shelters! She's armed!"

[Violet Parr]

Violet smiled and let her hand continue down Mion's back and over her folded wings. The feathers were really soft! After doing that for a few minutes, she let her hand drop back to her side and turned to the Charms book in front of her. She should probably get started on reading that.

[Isabela Rivaini]

Isabela was startled, not by the cat and the arrival of the new girl, but because of the hawk. She could feel her pocket wriggling already. She scooted around Violet to her other side, and kept her pocket out of the view of the hawk.

"Anders, I won't let it eat you. I promise."

[Barnaby Gumball]

"Oh no! Must we flee?" A tiny part of him felt terrible for making noise during Study Hall but he had long been aware that he was the only one doing work anyway. So, shaking off his guilt, he continued petting Cake.
