Shion watched Isabela scamper away from her hawk, and both she and Mion watched the girl in confusion. However, the bird was far more preoccupied with the attention she had been receiving. She bumped her head against Violet's temple softly, as if demanding she look at her again.
Shion absentmindedly petted the hawk's feathers once again, keeping her eyes on Isabela. "Anders?"

Fionna nodded furiously, "We must!" she then stood up, and pulled on his arm. "Quickly Gumball!" She placed her foot on her chair and pointed in a random direction, striking a heroic pose, "To the hills!"

Laughing, he got to his feet, climbing carefully over the bench so as not to disturb the other girls. "In that case, where to, my lady? Where can we be safe from this foul beast?"

Violet giggled as Mion bumped her head, trying to regain her attention. "Alright," she whispered and resumed the stroking she had been giving her earlier. But she turned to Isabella, cocking her head to the side. "I-is something w-wrong? Who's A-anders?"

Fionna couldn't help but snort out a laugh, sort of surprised he was actually playing along this much. "To..." she looked around the room, but, unlike outside, she found no place they could go. "Aw, there's nowhere to go in here..." she looked at him with an overly sad face, "We should be outsiiiiiiiiide~" she whimpered.

He wasn't sure if she was joking, or genuinely sad, but he dropped the laughter immediately and patted her on the head. "Cheer up, Fionna. We can go outside after class, perhaps?" He knew she preferred the outside far more than indoors. "You bring Cake and I'll bring Marshall. Does that sound enjoyable?" Marshall and Fionna always got along better than the two boys did.

Fionna squealed with joy and nodded vigorously. "Yeah, yeah!! Ohhh, you better not back out, PG!" She hugged him out of excitement, but, with a blush on her cheeks, quickly released him. "Heh, sorry. So, what time do we get out of here?"

"I'm not the sort to renege on my promises," he assured her, returning the hug. At her question, he looked thoughtfully around the room, eyes finally finding the clock. "It shouldn't be long. You were rather late, so it's more than half over already.

Fionna grinned; how she loved going outside! Outside is where she could be free to jump around and be... chaotic, to say the least. Especially with Marshall and Gumball. Well, not so much Gumball, he wasn't as big of a jokester as she and Marshall. But nonetheless, she was very happy he'd be there with them. She loved to spend time with her friends.
"Half over? Great! So, I guess I just gotta sit here and wait, then." With that, she took a seat once again, grabbing Cake. "We're going outside after this, Cake!" The cat's eyes widened with excitement, and she meowed happily. She loved the outdoors as much as Fionna did.

"Shh, Cake, not so loud." He sat back down as well, going back to his assigned job of petting the cat. "You'll disturb the other students." Never mind that he and Fionna had previously been making a lot of noise.

Normally, Cake would have given him a dirty look for shooshing her, but his petting relaxed her, and she forgave him. Fionna laughed. "Her? What about us?" She nudged his shoulder lightly. "I'm surprised we haven't been yelled at to shut up yet." With a smile, she released Cake, who curled up in her lap for a little cat nap. "Hey now, Cake, did you listen? We're leaving soon! It's no time for sleep!"

"Haha, well, considering what happened earlier, I doubt we're all too distracting." There was also the point that no one was doing their homework at all.

Fionna shrugged. "I guess." She slumped in her seat, resting her cheek on the table. "Outsiiiiiide...." She stared out the window at the beautiful blue sky, wishing she could be out there enjoying it. Not that she could fly, but a girl can dream.

"Patience is a virtue," he reminded the younger girl, slipping into lecturer-mode once again. He tucked his textbook away in his bag where Cake wouldn't be able to get at it, and turned to check on the other three girls who were clustered around the hawk.

"A virtue I don't seem to have!" She smiled up at him, before following his eyes to the other girls. She noticed that the girl with darker skin had practically ran away from the hawk, but she wasn't sure why. "What's up, guys? Everyone okay?"
