With a lift of her eyebrows, Amitola grinned mischievously. "Oh, you're a seeker? I didn't know thaat!" It didn't take her very long to observe the other people in the room. Some of them she recognized, and some of them she didn't. She decided that, at the very least, they all needed to know who she was, so she whipped out her wand and began to practice a spell she learned in class. She cast Wingardium Leviosa on the middle book in Jim's stack of schoolbooks.

Professor Doyle sighed and walked into the Great Hall, where Study Hall was currently being held. It looked a bit different, a bunch of smaller desks and tables set up instead of four giant tables. Where the Head Table usually was, a small one-person teacher's desk now sat, where he could sit and watch over all the others. He walked up there, plopping down in the chair and crossing his legs on the table, hands behind his head. There were so many things he'd rather be doing than watch a bunch of kids work on their homework. But with no class of his own to teach at the moment, he was the perfect candidate. He stared out at all the students, making sure things didn't get out of hand.

Jim was reading a book (not exactly having fun doing so, mind you) when he noticed out of the corner of his eye that one of his books was starting to float up. He glanced up from his book and watched his floating book travel a bit, not yet wanting to do anything about it, just kind of observing it. Either these ghosts are playing tricks on me, or someone is studying outside the normal “reading” assignments… either way, I feel as though a prank is about to be pulled on me. He thought to himself.

When Amitola noticed Jim's attention was actually on the book, she frowned. Well, that's no fun! The book quickly fell to the floor as she let it go. She hoped that he would go get the book, so that she could get a grip on something else instead.

He watched his book fall to the floor. “Well, they could have at least given it back.” He dragged himself off his chair and picked up his book from the floor. That wasn’t much of a prank…

With a giggle, Amitola cast Wingardium Leviosa on his chair. She tried to keep it as still as possible - hoping that he would be too distracted with his books, or his study, or something, to notice any small movements.

Sir-Pounce-A-Lot walked in, finally free from Mimiko's classroom and her mean students. He saw Doyle and began rubbing his leg, purring.

Doyle watched the prank in progress between a Gryffindor girl and Jim, one of his first years from flying lessons. It looked harmless to him, so he wasn't really motivated to stop it; he liked a good joke now and then. But if it started to get out of hand, he would intervene. In preparation, he reached into his boot and pulled out his wand, setting it on the desk. As he did so, he felt something rub against his leg, and looked down to see the fat shape of Mimiko's cat Sir-Pounce-A-Lot. He reached down and pet him. "Hey, what're you doing in here, fatcat?"

Sir-Pounce-A-Lot mewled, giving his best impression of goo goo eyes. He was quite obviously begging for a treat of some sort.

Jim walked back to his chair and placed his book down on the table. He then picked up his other book and continued reading again. Maybe the prankster had moved on to some other target…

Shion ran her fingers through her hair with a heavy sigh. How does one write to a sister she killed herself? Or to... Shion closed her eyes, her heart aching, "Satoshi..." she whispered, almost inaudibly. Her hand found her quill and ink, and she pressed it to the paper. She didn't write anything, only drew. She drew a picture of her sister, or at least, her rendition.

Doyle picked up Sir-Pounce-A-Lot and set him on the table beside him, so he could pet the cat and watch the students at the same time. Reaching into his pocket, he took out a can of dried sardine treats and held one in his palm for the cat to eat.

Yellow's eyes widened as Jim started to hover up towards the ceiling in his chair. "J-Jim!!" She ran over. "U-Ummm....you're floating....u-up really high!"

Jim looked towards the voice… which sounded surprisingly really far down. Then he noticed that he was hovering high in the air above Yellow. Jim almost started to panic before he realized the best thing to do would be to stay calm. “I-it seems as though I am…” He said to Yellow as if nothing was going on. “Very Funny.” He directed towards the whole hall, since he didn’t know who the jokester was. “You want to put me down now?"

Gumball shot a look at Professor Blackwell, surprised he had let the prank go this far. He supposed he was also to blame because he himself hadn't stopped it either.
But this was different. This was dangerous. A first year was being levitated high in the air! What if he fell?
"Hold on!" He called up to the first year; he suspected the chair itself was being levitated, because casting such a spell on a human was much more difficult; although that would narrow the suspects down to the older students in the hall. He scanned the room, his brow furrowing as he came across Shion. Was she...crying? Her expression was heartbreakingly sad. But no, now wasn't the time to worry about her. He had to find the culprit. He continued his careful scrutiny of the other students.
