Birds of a Feather... {Closed Fenris and Violet}

[Fenris Candor]

Fenris smiled and pointed to a rather old, knarled looking tree. "This marks it." He walked past the tree, and there they were: Four or five(it was hard to tell because they were all milling together) Unicorns with pelts of the purest white. He was as quiet as possible as he beckoned Violet to stand near him.

[Violet Parr]

Violet glanced at the tree that Fenris had pointed out, and then walked passed it as well. The sight before her was simply beautiful! There were five or so unicorns walking about the clearing, grazing on the grass underneath. Two young unicorns wandered about the legs of the older ones, playing with each other. All of their pelts were of a white so pure, Violet was positive nothing would ever look as white in her eyes again. She moved cautiously to stand next to Fenris, not wanting to startle them away but desperately wanting to touch one of them. "They're beautiful," she whispered, a smile spreading across her face. "Are they friendly?"

[Fenris Candor]

"To girls. And me." He smiled, and gestured for her to go first. "But it helps if I have a girl with me."

[Violet Parr]

Violet nodded. "If you say so." Tentatively, she stepped toward the unicorns. Several glanced up at her as she approached, so she froze in her advance. Two of the unicorns broke off from the rest and walked toward her, so she held out a hand for them to nuzzle and sniff. They seemed to approve, for it wasn't long until the two were rubbing their heads against her. She grinned and turned to Fenris, motioning him to come join her.

[Fenris Candor]

Fenris walked forward and one of the baby Unicorns came bounding toward him, snuffling at his pocket. He smiled at it's intelligence, and pulled out the group of carrots he'd been saving for himself later.

"Here, little one." He handed the carrot to the colt, who gobbled it down excitedly.

[Violet Parr]

Violet watched Fenris feed the baby unicorn as she continued to pet the closest unicorn's long head. She smiled, wishing she had a secret stash of vegetables in her pockets. Her attention was grabbed though by the horn atop the unicorn's head. Carefully, she reached a finger up and touched it. The horn was hard but smooth, with a swirled pattern that added a ridged feel to it. After a second, the unicorn neighed and snorted, shaking its head. "I guess you don't want me touching that, huh?" A little disappointed, she went back to stroking its nose.

[Fenris Candor]

Fenris walked over, the baby Unicorn at his heels like a puppy. "Here." He gave her some of the carrots. The Unicorn she was petting now had an excited look in its eyes, and more of the herd had gathered around them. Fenris found himself being brushed by snouts looking for more carrots. "They're majestic beasts, aren't they?"

[Violet Parr]

Taking the carrots, she held one out to the unicorn she had been petting. "T-thanks." She was becoming a bit overwhelmed by the unicrons' presence, but it was also a nice feeling. "Yes, they are," she replied. "H-how did you f-find them?"

[Fenris Candor]

Fenris avoided her eyes for a bit, then looked back at her. "There are wolves in the Forbidden Forest. I visit them often enough."

[Violet Parr]

"Oh, wow!" Violet refocused her attention to the other baby unicorn, feeding it a carrot, when it bumped her hip with its head. She didn't think she'd ever be able to be around wolves; they were beautiful creatures as well, but they were also a little scary. "So, did the wolves show you this place?"

[Fenris Candor]

Fenrisv shook his head. "The Unicorns are terrified of them. But they spoke OF where the herd hid."

[Violet Parr]

"Right. O-of course." She mentally scolded herself; what made her think the wolves and unicorns would be able to be in the same place at one time? She gave the last carrot to another of the adults as she continued to pet the baby unicorn. When it nibbled on her hand, she held it out. "Sorry, I don't have any more." It licked her palm as if it didn't believe her and she laughed, settling down on the grass so she could stroke it without bending down anymore.

[Fenris Candor]

Fenris walked over to one of the older Unicorns, and bowed to it heavily.The stallion stared at him for a minute before bowing in response, and Fenris carefully began running his fingers through its mane.

"It's said that you can ride them, with the right personality and skill."

[Violet Parr]

Violet stared at him with wide eyes. "I'm not sure I could ever do that! H-have you ridden one?"

[Fenris Candor]

He shook his head. "I'm a down to Earth kind of guy. I like the feeling of something solid under my feet. But, if you're nice to them, they are extremely loyal to their riders."
