Violet smiled and laid her hand on Fenris' offered arm. "I'd like that. All that dancing made me thirsty!"

She was done tuning now, and she looked out towards the ballroom. Everyone seemed to be ready to hear some music, and she was ready to perform. she pulled up her violin to her shoulder, gently rested her chin on the bar, and pulled her bow up to the strings. Then she began to play an eerie waltz to reflect the halloween spirit. The enchanted floating pumpkins began to sing the chorus, following the melody of the violin.

Fenris smiled at her again, and guided her over to the punch bowl, where he filled her glass. He handedt to her elegantly, then got a glass for himself, sitting down at a nearby table, annd humming lightly to the music. "It's beautiful." He said, staring at her.

"Thank you," Violet said as she took the cup from him. She sat next to him and listened to the music as well for a little while. Professor Starr played the violin beautifully. Fenris echoed her thoughts and she nodded. "Yes, it is." She turned to see Fenris staring at her and she immediately blushed again, playing with a lock of her hair.

Fenris caught her blush, and realized he'd been staring at her. Where had this come from? Hadn't he been eagerly awaiting Amitola's arrival not too long ago? Now all he wanted was to please Violet. He sighed, and brought out his wand. He'd managed to be able to preform ONE spell for this dance, and he was planning on doing it for Amitola. But Violet, he hoped, would like it as well.
"Orchideous!" He muttered, concentrating on Violet's eyes, as dark-blue/violet as they were. A bunch of violets in that color sprouted from the end of his wand, and he held them out to her.

Yellow turned even redder than before, her hands clenching and unclenching in the fabric of her dress. "Thank you....y-your costume looks w-w-wonderful...u-ummm...h-how long have you b-b-been here??" She hoped she hadn't kept him waiting....even if she had gotten here pretty early for when the dance was supposed to start...

'Shion' accepted the proffered rose and murmured back. "Shion-senpai is over there dancing---" cutting herself off, she saw that 'Anri' was now approaching them. Smiling, she gestured for Masaomi to turn around, as 'Anri' was now located behind him.

As everyone talked and laughed, the hall began to grow colder, the change at first imperceptible. The music switched to something of a slower song, which fit the somber mood that was starting to envelope them all...

'Anri' grinned at her friends, giving them a small wave. She looked to Masaomi, and giggled. "What's up with your hair?" She reached over and curiously twirled a lock between her fingers. As she did so, she suddenly felt... cold. And afraid. Her heart beat faster, and she thought that maybe it was just her nerves of being around Masaomi getting to her. She tried to shake it off. "Are you guys having fun?"

Mimiko could feel the subtle difference, especially being in her current, semi-revealing dress. She shivered, and involuntarily scooted closer on the dance floor to Doyle. She suddenly felt depressed, and was filled with a sense of foreboding, which made her glad she had brought her wand.
"Doyle, do you feel that? It's cold..."

Rubbing her arms, 'Shion' looked up into the fake night sky. "Ah, yeah... we were having fun." Moving closer to her friends, she added, "It's getting kind of chilly." Fog misted over the far windows.

'Anri' nodded in agreement, glad to know it wasn't just her nerves. "Yeah, it is..." She looked towards the windows as well, and stood a little bit closer to Masaomi. Blushing, she looked up at him from under her eyelashes. "Ah, Masaomi-kun... Would you like to dance? If that's okay with you, Anri-chan..." She looked over at 'Shion' with almost a pleading look.

"No problem. Have fun." The mist had almost obscured the window completely now. Tugging out her wand, 'Shion' approached the window.

Violet took the flower from Fenris with a smile. "Thank you," she said quietly. The room began to get chilly though, and her smile quickly faded. "It got cold," she pointed out, rather obviously. Her skin-tight costume might have been long-sleeved, but it didn't provide her with much warmth.

Fenris had noticed that too. Instinctively and rather protectively, he scooted his chair around the table, very close to hers, and put his arms around her. He was warm, for being as cold as it was. "Better?"
