((Assuming they sucessfully defended themselves against dementors, Kuro and Fai are left to deal with the awkwardness of talking again after Hogsmeade))
Fai was still pale and shaking, holding his patronus for longer than needed, since the dementors had slipped away....finally, when the effort became too much, the Patronus faded and Fai sunk shakilly against the nearest bookshelf.
He had performed the charm a couple of times in class, where the patronus produced was nothing more than a glowing mist. Outside of class, he had practiced a little, until he had given it some kind of form....but to be honest, he had little in the way of good memories, and so his patronus was always weak. But today, seeing kuro....knowing the danger they were in and not willing to lose someone he cared about, Fai had managed to use that to summon something that resembled a quite large cat.

Kuro wobbled stumbling back to lean heavily against the bookshelf wobbled but managed to stay standing, Kuro on the other hand sank to the floor panting harshly. One hand covering his face, but wet seemed to be sliding down his cheeks. It was either sweat or tears.
Kurogane was closer to the door than Fai, he'd been trying to drive the Dementors back from the library to try and protect himself and Fai who had appeared just before the attack. His Patronus had taken the form of a large Dog like creature it was the first time that Kurogane had managed to actually do the spell... he was glad that he had been able to do it this time, it was probably part of the reason Fai and himself were still alive.

Feeling his whole body trembling, Fai drew a couple of deep breaths. He would not break down....he would not pass out....he would remain strong. Despite the exhaustion that the attack (or rather, the effort expended in defending against the attack) had brought on, Fai also knew with certainty that he would not sleep tonight. The memories were too close to the surface, and as soon as he closed his eyes he could see his brothers face.
Fai forced his eyes to stay open, and his gaze was drawn to Kurogane who nearly tipped the bookshelf over, he'd slumped against it so hard. From the way his tanned skin had paled, and how he covered his face, Fai could tell he wasn't the only one the dementors had effected. He felt a pang of guilt for having avoided the Hufflepuff....he'd lost his parents only recently.....and Fai should have been there to help instead of acting like a coward. "....Nice work, Kuro-sama..." he said, attempting cheery and failing dismally. He was honestly happy that Kurogane had managed to pull off the spell, but the shock and the dementors leaching effect left him feeling very hollow, and still so very cold.

"tch...," said Kuro but he didnt sound as rough as usual, he sounded unsteady and weak.
The raven haired Hufflepuff was trying to supress the bad memories that the Dementors had brought up. But he was struggling, the hand over his face shaking as he fought the emotions.

It took a minute or two before Fai had enough presence of mind to rememer the cure for dementors effects. Well, a bodilly cure; nothing would alliviate the emotional damage done. He idly patted his pockets, then he shifted to kneal and rummage through the bag he'd dropped. He knew he had some....ah hah! There was a tearing sound, then a loud snap that made Fai jump a little, even though he was the one who'd done it. Damn those dementors for making him so on edge.
He hurriedly stuffed some chocolate in his mouth, chewing and swallowing as quickly as he could without choking himself, feeling warmth slowly start to spread through his body again. He broke off another chunk and stood carefully, then he made his was slowly over to Kurogane, as if he was a wounded animal that might bite at any second. "Kurosama...." he doubted the Hufflepuff would eat it willingly...and probably wasn't paying much attention at the minute, so without any other warning and whilst the other had a hand over his eyes, he shoved the chocolate between kuros lips.

Kuro was only partly aware that Fai was moving around, he jumped a little when he felt something being pushed into his mouth. Hand falling away from his eyes, he looked up glaring at the blonde. Kuro was not a fan of sweet things, so he really did not appreciate the chocolate being pushed in his mouth.
"What are you doing," he grumped around the bit of chocolate that was in his mouth.

fai gave a sigh, much like a frustrated teacher would wiht a slow student "Do you pay any attention in defence against the dark arts? Its a well known fact that chocolate is the cure for dementor's effects...." he pushed the choclate a lil further in, then pulled his finger back before it got bitten.
After he snapped off another chunk for himself , he managed a half smile "Just eat it...you can grump about it when you feel better.” the blonde commented before popping more chocolate into his own mouth. He felt a bit better; warmer, and a bit happier. It was hard with those creatures around to remember that the past is past; They suck every drop of warmth and happiness from you; physically and emotionally, forcing you to relive your worst memories and leaving them free to feed on your very life if they want.
But...they were gone now, and like the past, they had to move on from it.

Kuro grumped but ate the bit of chocolate that Fai had forced onto him. He swallowed it as soon as he had chewed it enough, pulling a slight face. He hated sweet things.
He remained leaning against the book case still looking pale, he felt slightly better after having that little bit of chocolate but decided not to say that to the blonde, he'd probably force more chocolate on him. He tried to force the bad memories down but it was hard with them still being so fresh in his mind.

It seemed to take a lot of effort to keep on his feet, so Fai shifted a little to perch on the edge of the nearest table. He was more worried about Kurogane than himself; the only time he'd seen the young man so shaken is when he confronted him about why the Hufflepuff had been away from school. Which was, Fai guessed, exactly the same reason that had Kurogane so shaken now.
Fai ate some more chocolate, quiet and trying to distract himself from his own thoughts by concentrating on how he could snap Kurogane out of it. "....I'm very impressed though....you managed a full patronus...." distraction was Fai's first tactic.

Kurogane shrugged "probably a fluke.... you know how bad i am with spells," said Kurogane slouching a little. He just wanted to go to sleep, but doubted that he would have any good dreams.
He tried to think of something else, but regretted it when he remembered what had happened at Hogsmeade. He looked away suddenly deciding that he should leave, to hide his embaressment. He shifted trying to stand up but was obviously in no condition to stand yet.

"Don't knock it, Kuro-sama....that 'fluke' just saved our lives," he wasn't exaggerating....by himself, he would have probably given up. He found it hard to fight to protect himself, not seeing that it was worth it, but Kurogane being there had given him a reason to fight. But even that drive wouldn;t have been enough for him alone to hold the dementors back; Kurogane's patronus had been essential. But, Fai didn't know how to put all of that into words....or, even if he should.
Before he even had the chance to explain that he'd needed Kurogane for more than just a spell, the Hufflepuff was trying to get up, eying the exit already. A little hurt flickered in Fai's eyes, but it was chased away by worry....he didn't have time to emo over his stupid crush. "Just rest a little while, Kuro-sama....if you try to walk out now, you'll end up faceplanting the floor..."

Kurogane managed a few steps towards the door before he sank to the floor again, having to catch himself from falling by gripping the nearest bookcase. Feeling light headed he flopped laying down on the floor for a moment wishing the room would stop spinning.
Sighing deeply he waited for the room to stop spinning, hoping it would stop soon so that he could get of there before it got more awkward.

Fai sighed too, watching Kurogane without looking like he was. He was frustrated, worried and hurt, but he kept trying to push it all away. The only problem was, in pushing his feelings away, he also pushed away the friendship they had. And Fai now found himself missing it more than he could say.
"Kurogane...." he rarely ever used the young mans full name unless he was serious "......why are you so eager to leave? Would it be so bad if we just talked?" he wanted to just blurt out all the weird feelings he'd been having, but he knew Kuro wouldnt be able to cope with that, and he was very scared of rejection.

Kurogane balked a little at fai's remark, would it be so bad? Of course it would... What do u usually say to someone after you stick your tongue in their mouth while your drunk?
Kuro's shoulders tensed and he tried to think of an exscuse to leave the library without looking like a heartless brute.
His mind betrayed him, instead making him think about the needy kiss he had planted on the blonde. The thought of Fai's stop pink lips against his own was getting him even more flustered.
"i....uh....." nothing of sense escaped his lips mind still on the drunken kiss. He couldnt seem to get up yet either still dizzy from using magic and because of the Demontors attack.

fai held back another sigh, but he had to make things right, even if he was too much of a coward to admit that he felt anything beyond friendship. "well, it looks like you're not going to leave anytime soon...." he said softly, since kuro had ended up on the floor and still couldn't get up. "so, if you don't want to talk, you can at least listen....what happened....is ok....im not mad at you, if that's what you were thinking. You were drunk and weren't thinking clearly...."
Fai looked away, trying not to let his eyes linger on kuros lips. "so can we just forget that it happened? Because i miss my friend...." he blushed a little. He really missed kuro, not just winding him up, but talking to him, getting to teach him, even just hanging around or messing around on the quidditch pitch.
