Suddenly, it all seemed to click with her. The boy had carried her upstairs after she had hit the tree. That must mean that...he was pretty strong. And strength was cool. Maybe she could convince him to be on the Quidditch team! Or she could train with him! Maybe this guy was a bit cooler than she originally thought. "Wait! Wait! Fenris, that was it, right? Fenris! Wait up!" She started to leap off the table again, but quickly remembered how bad of an idea it was last time. Anyway, she didn't want to give him another reason to help her out. She just wanted...him to stay.

He stopped, his fists curled in anger. But if he tried to leave, she would follow him, and then she would hurt herself even more. To prove to himself that he really cared, he took a deep breath, and turned around. He forced the steps back to her bedside, and stood there, seething. "Yes, Ami?"

Her gaze turned down for a second as she tried to formulate a logical sentence. It didn't take her very long. "You should totally train for Quidditch with me! You're strong, right? Yeah!"

Fenris almost wanted to slap himself in the face. He was expecting some kind of meaningful, touching statement. Instead, it was a conversation of strength... Quidditch. Fenris sighed. "Quidditch? Really? I... I've never flown... But... I guess.. We could... When you're better."

Amitola grinned broadly. This could be fun. She shifted on the bed, making room for him to sit next to her. Patting the empty space, she exclaimed, "It's a da-- deal!"

Fenris sighed and sat. "You know we'd be challenging each other right." He gestured to his tie, striped oh-so-blatantly-obviously silver and green. "My main objective, and that of my fellows, would be to knock you and your team out of the sky..."

Her eyes grew full of luster. He's gonna challenge me, huh? Okay, we'll see how that goes. She threw an arm around this new companion of hers. "As long as you recognize that we will totally skunk you! Go Gryffindors!" With her free hand, she fist-pumped into the air. "Of course, we can let you get a few goals, but we'll have to win in the end."

Fenris laughed. "You obviously haven't met many of the Slytherins then. They will NOT take any loses from your house." It felt slightly strange to be this close to anyone, let alone a woman. Especially one that was as headstrong and outgoing as Amitola was. None of the witches in his neighborhood were like this. They were either snooty and didn't give him the time of day, or too bookish to even come outside their houses. Now, with her arm around him, it felt kind of nice. He paused, analyzing what she'd said before. "You almost said date." He smiled.

He was just finishing up with the first year's scratches when he noticed that the other two were up to...something. He watched them carefully out of the corner of his eye as he instructed the younger student to be more careful, and once he was done, he could turn his full attention on them.
Yep. It was just as he'd thought.
They were flirting again.
He stayed quiet, not wanting to interfere, but he really wished she'd just let him bandage her leg already. Surely they could flirt while he did that?

He shifted his feet awkwardly as the two on the other side of the room started flirting. At first Mac had thought they hated each other, but then their conversation had completely switched tones. And they were a Gryffindor and Slytherin! He shook his head; older students were so confusing. "Um, if we're done, I'll just leave. Thanks, Dr. Kishitani." He wanted to get out of the Hospital Wing as quickly as he could.

Was the other student uncomfortable? Shinra found that slightly amusing, because such things didn't bother him in the least!
"Next time, just let your owl have the chocolate," he advised, before bidding the younger student goodbye.

Amitola peeled her arm from his shoulder and scooted about an inch away. She scrunched up her face and stuck her tongue out. "Nuh uh. I wouldn't say that!" When Shinra turned their way again, she snapped her fingers. "Hey, Doc! Are you gonna fix me up so I can go?"

"That's Dr. Kishitani, actually." It would be unnecessary to tell them that he didn't actually a have any sort of license.
"Sit down again, please. I need to wrap your leg, remember?" As if to convince her, he added, "You can keep flirting while I do it. I won't stop you, I promise."

"Right," Mac replied, not bothering to correct the doctor on who was the one eating the chocolate. It was close enough to the truth anyway. "Bye!" With that, he slung his pack over his shoulder and left.

Fenris paused. Had he really fallen into this realm? Yes, he supposed he had. "You most definitely almost said date, Ami. Would you really consider dating me?" That was as much emotion as he was going to bring forth. If she didn't jump on that...
