Shion nodded a little. "Yeah, you're right." She stepped behind the curtain as well. She had no intention of removing her clothes, or even getting into a bed. She just stood, staring at the ground.

After removing her clothing, Anri pulled back the covers and slipped in, staring up at the ceiling.

Shion sat by the bed, looking up at her friend. "Better, Anri-chan?" She grinned. "You really did a number on that squid."

"Ah...yeah." The squid. She had nearly forgotten about that. How was she going to explain it to Shion?

"What did you use to hurt it, anyway?" Anri didn't have her wand with her at the time, or anything but her own hands, really. It wasn't that Shion was trying to pry, she was just curious.

((OOC: Ohdude I'm so sorry, I have no idea how I missed this. /hangs head in shame))
After a few minutes spent bundling bandages into a cupboard in the back of the room, Shinra heard voices up in the front. Had someone come in while he was busy? He made his way up towards the sounds and found two girls, sopping wet, one of which was curled in a hospital bed. He didn't want to startle them, so he called out, "Hello, you two! Are you alright?"

Thankful for the doctor's interruption, Anri said, "We were swimming in the lake. The giant squid attacked us." That was basically what had happened anyways. She suddenly realized that her vision was slightly obscured by specks of red. There was squid blood on her glasses.

"Aw, did you wake the squid up from a nice nap?" He wasn't make fun of her; he seemed almost genuinely more concerned for the squid's wellbeing. Without waiting for an answer, he continued cheerfully, "Well, it doesn't matter. Where are you hurt?

"I'm fine... just a little bruised from when I hit the water." Anri winced slightly as she remembered. "The squid is really injured though. I'm sorry. I panicked." There had been a long gash in it's side when she had last seen it. If they had just woken it up and scared it... then this entire situation couldn't be blamed on the creature.

Shion's heart leaped into her throat as the doctor made his little joke; she hadn't taken into consideration that they had invaded the squid's home. She smiled up at the doctor. "Moral support." She made a peace sign with a grin. "Just ignore me."

True to her request, Shinra ignored the green-haired girl and studied Anri, tapping his chin. "Bruised, hm?" He couldn't really tell the extent of the damage from here, but her clothes were piled next to her bed, so he didn't ask her to come out from under the covers.
He was close enough to being thrown out for being generally freaky as it was.
"You'll be fine tomorrow. I've got a potion for the pain, one that'll heal your bruises in a flash." In fact, he'd mixed up a whole new batch the other day in preparation for the upcoming Quidditch season.

She nodded thankfully. A healing potion sounded really nice. Still... what about the squid?

Lazy as ever, he waved his wand and summoned the potion from a far shelf. The small glass bottle drifted down to rest in his palm. He held it up to the light, casting a transparent colored shadow on his white jacket. "Six drops should be just enough, I think." Another flick of his wand, and the little iron cup next to the bed sprang up into the air in front of him. With care, he measured out the powerful liquid, and then held the cold metal cup out to Anri. "Drink up. You'll be right as rain by morning."

Sitting up, Anri pulled the blankets around herself and took the cup. It was cold against her skin, and she drank it down in one gulp to get it over with. The taste was bearable, she supposed. Handing the cup back to the doctor, she asked, "Will the squid be okay?"

He took the cup and set it back on the low table, sending the potion bottle back to the shelf with a flourish. "Don't you worry about him!" He half-twirled over to his desk, holding up a paper and pencil for her to see. "I'm going to write up a report for Professor Fluttershy (lovely lady, by the way) and she'll get on it right away."
